Name: Ninja Art: Shadow Sending
Rank: B
Type: Defensive // Supplementary
Element: N/A
Range: Visual Range
Description: The point of this technique is simple; This replaces the user with his shadow when his opponent looks at him; the higher someone's perception is, the more realistic the shadow takes on the appearance of the original. This afterimage will reflect any damage that would have been inflicted on the original had they been attacked instead, further convincing the opponent that it is real. However, this greatly depends on the target's perception stat; if the perception stat is 60 or higher, the afterimage will be indistinguishable from the real version, if the perception stat is between 50 to 60, the afterimage will work from a distance (covering the short range and beyond), but when seeing it close up, the afterimage will appear like one half is normal and the other half is like a solid shadow, black and unfinished. But if the perception stat is below 40, the target's will just see a shadow and notice quickly that its not real. So this jutsu requires careful use and planning to make sure that it goes off properly. Although if the target is caught up, attacking the shadow, the original can move without being seen or heard as the afterimage draws all attention to it, allowing its creator to go unnoticed, making it good as a diversion for escaping or giving the user time to set up another attack.
Requirements: at least a 3 in traditional ninjutsu, is teachable by Luke, although not readily available.
This technique seems more like a rank A genjutsu technique. Sorry bro.
