Subject: Yuki Battousen, 'Sleeping Snow' Sat May 21, 2022 10:57 am
Name: Yuki Battousen Nickname: 'Sleeping Snow' Age: 11 Gender: Male
Height: 140cm. Weight: 50kg. Appearance: Often clad in an assortment of fishnet body armour and a sleeveless black vest, Battousen favours ease of movement rather than style. Even in spite of that, his sleek outfit makes an impression on other young nin of his age. Definitely not the coolest of his classmates, Battousen is known to be rather drowsy and his bright azure eyes often seem drowned with black circles underneath. Much like the clouds of his home country, the young shinobi's hair is a uniquely alabaster white, and floats all puffy above his head. Not the stereotypically elegant Yuki, unless one could peddle his unique brand of carelessness 'elegant'.
Village: Kumogakure Character Rank: Academy Student Clan: Yuki Element: N/A
Personality: If we’re being honest, Battousen is too young to have formed a concrete personality. As of right now, he’s a rather impressionable kid who thinks he acts cool, when in reality he’s just another hopeful kid in a world where hope is all too lost in the ashes of war. While he has a lot of growing to do, for now he will remain the curious student who spends evenings away stargazing at rooftops, reading books on the ninja that preceded him, and dreaming of becoming great some far-off day. That is, if he manages to get a hold of his terrible sleeping schedule at any point in time. It’s bad enough that he doses off during the Academy’s beginner classes. As for the boy's fighting style, it usually revolves around non-lethal attacks and a general avoidance toward inflicting real damage. Deep within, Battousen fashions himself some sort of pacifist. Perhaps that is why he often exhibits an interest toward the medical arts.
Character History: Much of who Battousen is comes in direct conflict with who his parents are. Two decently powerful and influential Jonin of their time, Yuki Masamune and Yuki Shiraihonda held onto hope that their child would inherit both their willpower and their merit in time.
But they were impatient- putting too much pressure on the boy ever since he was too young to understand it all resulted in Battousen developing a combative laziness; a reaction to his parents’ constant yammering for him to be strong fast. In reality, both the boy and his parents knew that time and experience made for the best shinobi. It was solely a matter of miscommunication that resulted in the young boy closing in on himself and refusing to open up to his parents- or even to let them train him.
Upon entering the Academy, eventually, Battousen realised that he had to start living for himself. It was time to start his journey, at his pace. He knows his parents will come around and view him differently once he becomes stronger in the path he chooses for himself, and not the one set by them.

This is almost perfect; you're below the 200 word requirement for history. That said, asking you to fill in 11 words to achieve an arbitrary number would be petty, so approved. Just bringing that up for future notice.
