Komugi is typically seen wearing a tight fitting black vest and baggy dark colored pants over an orange leotard. Her arms are covered by a mesh sleeve, and her hands by fingerless gloves that widen at the forearm.
Perhaps the most odd part of Komugi’s outfit is her cloak – a hooded black overgarment with orange trim that extends to her lower back and secures at her chest by a 3-point shuriken-like pin.

Personality: Komugi very much wants to be accepted by others and strives to put herself out there, but she’s still quite guarding of certain personal information, and will often steer away from topics that would dampen the mood. She does, however, like to push boundaries to investigate others and include them – sometimes by force – in her experiences, no matter how simple. She doesn't like to take things too seriously, and will often look for a way to ease tension even if it means feigning complete ignorance.
Though she usually means well, Komugi can be quite deceptive when it comes to things she doesn’t want to tackle head-on, and this mentality carries over in her approach to combat. Her goal is typically to make her opponent forget it’s a fight at all so she can score a quick win while their guard is down, or flee entirely.    

Character History:
Komugi is technically the middle child of four siblings, having an older brother and twin younger sisters. She's also the proof of an affair between her father, a full-blooded Sarutobi clansman, and her mother, a clanless civilian. Following several complexities, it was decided Komugi would grow up in Konohagakre as a member of the Sarutobi clan along with her father, siblings, and their mother - who will henceforth also be referred to as 'her mother'.

Despite being accepted in every other conceivable way, Komugi struggled to get along with her mother. There was no warmth in their relationship, and Komugi felt she was treated more like a tool that could be called upon and used at any moment, but had no place to ask for anything in return other than what was required to keep her in healthy working condition. Without regard for their age gap, she was often compared to her brother, who assisted with the accountancy of their family business known as Monkīmeido - which trained monkeys in anywhere from household chores to advanced duties within the shinobi world - and in response he began to look down on her as well, seeing Komugi as nothing more than a lackadaisical errand girl. In addition, it was often Komugi who was tasked with looking after the twins, and only Komugi who was scolded whenever they got into trouble, or the house was in disarray.

Worn down, Komugi convinced her father to enroll his misfit daughter in the academy. It was a surprisingly simple task, as he was a retired ninja himself, and took great pride in his past profession. Right now Komugi seeks nothing more than to rebuild her life and establish herself as an individual. She has yet to understand the height of what it means to be a ninja.
