Appearance: Kei does not look AT ALL like what her personality is. She has pale-light-tan skin, smooth and looks nearly flawless. Her eyes are a light green, though they frequently appear downcast. Kei’s hair is a mix of Carmel and platinum blonde, which goes about halfway down her back, but two large bangs appear out in the front. It’s also mostly straight. Her body is lean, hourglass-like shape, and she normally wears a plain black jumpsuit, as well as tight black leggings. Kei also wears light blue trainers, fingerless black gloves, and a tight black headband.

Personality: Kei is probably the bookwormy b*tch. They’re incredibly introverted, preferring to spend most of her time reading or training on her own. She’s found it incredibly hard to warm up to people, and has since stopped trying. Kei’s also HIGHLY opinionated/controversial, even if she keeps to herself. Honestly, I don’t mean to pull pop culture references here, she’s sort of like a female Aaron Burr from Hamilton. She watches and waits and reacts based on others. She doesn’t tell anyone much, and lets her actions do the work. Because of this, she’s known to have a dislike of nosy people and loud noises. Kei’s also stated that she is fearful of heights, because they make her motion sick. Kei mostly likes being alone, and training, because that distracts her mind from the weird stares she’s received for being a “weirdo” most of her life. Her primary fighting style is hand-to-hand, especially since she enjoys sparring, but she also relies heavily on her jutsu heavily as well.

Character History: Kei was born in Konogakure to the Koibito family, the oldest of….10 siblings, 5 girls (including her), and 5 boys. Her family was well-known for some influential family members in the past having been informal advisors to the Kage, and Kei’s parents, who were more than old enough, were on the senate/were village elders. This placed Kei in a more influential position, despite her family being a civilian clan. Kei in her early childhood was often left taking care of her younger siblings at home, and was frequently with her hands full. Once the oldest boy in her family, Akihito, was old enough, the two almost acted as the co-parents to their younger siblings. This created a close bond between the two, but also acted as a form of stress on Kei.

Kei, from a young age, exhibited natural aptitude with ninjutsu, particularly Fire Release, and was known to be highly-driven, despite her antisocialness. Despite her parents’ disapproval (to some degree), the 9-Tails, Kurama, was sealed into a 8-year-old Kei using the Four Elements Seal. Kei is still unaware of this, and honestly at this point in life, doesn’t really care. She entered the Academy soon thereafter getting the Tailed Beast sealed inside of her, and noticed how her chakra reserves are always a bit larger than the rest of her classmates.

Kei’s naturally excelled in the ninjutsu part of the Academy, and the physical academics part of it, but has always struggled with taijutsu. She was always noted to initially be vulnerable to genjutsu, but this may be due to her low mental willpower. She’s just been waiting to get out of the Academy and start her life. But there’s still one last twist that has to be done. I think you can guess what that is.
