Snowfall In A Storm of Thunder Empty
PostSubject: Snowfall In A Storm of Thunder   Snowfall In A Storm of Thunder EmptySat May 21, 2022 2:52 pm

Dawn always betrays a new day. The morning breathes anew, and as dusk becomes elder, foreign to the experiences of today, so does time go on. On a day as serene as this, the skies atop the craning mountainsides of Kumogakure betrothed upon its jagged tops an awning of clouds. It was beautiful- though what is this? Not a cloud, no- it can't have been. Attached to the body of a young but lithe boy were flowing hair in ethereal white, all too easily mistaken for an infantile cloud. The boy, himself, was young Battousen of the Yuki Clan; a droplet of who his parents were, yet an ambitious droplet at that. Ambitious, because who else would wake at the crack of morning to practice for the Academy?

He always wanted to impress. It was an attitude set upon him subconsciously by his parents. With black circles under his eyes, the young shinobi-in-the-making all too easily forsook healthy sleeping habits in his rise to power. Well, one can't exactly call his state of being a powerful one. With a piece of grilled toast bitten and hanging lazily from his lips and the look of laze that he oft exhibited, he would approach the training grounds along the mountainside and across the bends of air that whispered and sang in coy whistles around the rocky spires of the environment.

Setting his pouches on a rock atop the cliff's face and stabbing a kunai into the leather strap to keep his supplies in place, Battousen sighed;
"Another day, another attempt." his tone would lead someone to think that he's complaining, surely, but that was simply.. well, his natural tone.

Hisomu was wandering through the streets of Kumogakure, as baller as ever following an exercise with her family – and that was simply what had gotten her in such a good mood the following day. Numerous techniques had been put under her belt, and at this point she was easily capable of handling missions on her own. Anyhow – as she wandered, she’d eventually pass through the training grounds to notice the questionably questionable individual that was Battousen.

She was probably a class just above him or so, despite the similar age, but that was simply the boon of being an Uchiha – and she was after-all a genin till this day. She had passed her exam almost flawlessly, bar a shuriken exam where one missed and presumably hit some poor fool in the back of the head. Anyhow, she’d spot the kunai having been stabbed through the leather straps and the mumbling boy who looked as if he had lived better days. Seen better days and honestly looked as if he wished he had another life.

You know, typical student stuff – not Hisomu though, she was after-all blessed to be in the known clan that was the Uchiha. Hisomu wore a large red jacket and a bodysuit underneath whilst her headband was hanging around her neck. Lastly, her hair was wildly brown, and two locks were hanging down the side of her head. Straps around her arms and legs, the girl attempted to sneak towards the fellow before attempting to lightly tap the back of his head with the back of her head.
"Whatcha' mumbling about over here? You in some downie mood? What? Exams got you all riled up?" Hisomu said teasingly as she'd jump a slight step back, obviously due to expecting the kid to lash out like some child. She would had done the same, really.

"You're a student, right? I assume you are - judging by your fit and expression, kiddo." Hisomu chuckled towards the end as he pointed at him with a lazy hand, up and down. She seemed about his age if not younger - and definitely shorter.

It was rare enough for Battousen to have clarity enough to tell Hisomu to sod off- rarer still on this day, one of the few on which he'd decided to commit to training. Even in his state, deprived of sleep and almost walking into the welcoming hands of the next best cloud to emulate his softly feathered pillow, the student was quick enough on the uptake to have noticed the short Genin's swaggering approach. Far be it for him, however, to not indulge. At times he suffered from a lack of strong decision making- were he, say, to have grown like his father or mother, Battousen would have been much more vocal in his young age. Perhaps then he'd have reacted to the head-bonking like anyone else naturally would. Instead, the kid rolled his eyes and exhaled.

"Look, I told you, I don't have your money. Could you stop these ga-.."  at that point he'd have turned around to notice that the person in question wasn't one of his rapscallion bullies- or at least not yet. She certainly didn't fit the bill neither in height nor in rudeness. "Who.. are you?" Battousen would ask in a dazed tone, head shaken from the prior bonking. He didn't answer Hisomu's questions with anything more, rather initially distrustful- but she was right. Though he wore the sleek clothes of a presumably agile shinobi, Battousen was far too young and he lacked a key ingredient to calling himself one; a waistband, headband, neckband, whatever one chose to bear. If it were up to him, he began to dreamfully ponder, what would he choose to wear his Village's sigil with? Who knows? Certainly not Battousen, that is.

"I'm sorry- I thought nobody would be here but me. Why do you also wake up this early anyway?" and he'd been right. Practically, this was earlier in the day that one couldn't exactly call it morning, and rather the tail end of a long, drawn out, restless night. The sun's first rays began to peak through behind the Raikage's towering office, shining upon the kid's moon-glowed locks.

PostSubject: Re: Snowfall In A Storm of Thunder   Snowfall In A Storm of Thunder EmptySat May 21, 2022 4:18 pm

Hisomu’s lip twitched for a moment as the incredibly rude, by her standards, Battousen choose not to answer her very incredibly innocent question – how utterly mean, and evil by him! Whatever he owed to the other bullies wasn’t her problem and judging by his phrasing it was if he was someone that owed them or was bullied into giving it. Was he perhaps buying stuff off them, and they were requesting payment for it? What was the academy just up to these days, that the young ones could indulge themselves in such cartel like operations?

Hisomu snorted to herself rather visibly and loudly as the boy just looked at her and asked in his dazed tone. She was elsewhere in her own little world – but here they were, him being as lost as ever.  However, none of this was an issue to Hisomu who just formed a slight grin and looked at her comrade in arms of the village. Hisomu rolled her eyes, lightly shrugging at him before her green eyes swirled to form that of a one tomoe sharingan. Perhaps she had already made up her mind in regards to what the two of them would be discussing, and she’d rather just cut to the chase.

"Same reason as you, numbucks. You and I'll be training, and I've decided that simply because I can. If you've got an issue with it, bite me, but I got a sharingan to practice, and you're just so lucky to be here, got it?" Hisomu said in a somewhat joking sense, but the end tone of it left little room for consideration - as it became somewhat, but subtle, clear that she was being serious and wasn't offering much of a choice.

"I'll show your academy bum a jutsu that you'll be using for the exams, and you'll be using it under my super'vision'. Alright? Keep an eye on the birdie, then look me in the eye." Hisomu cheekily answered as she formed the seals for the academy clone jutsu - the most typical jutsu. However, she didn't wave any chakra into it to expend her energy, but rather demonstrate it for him.

"Do it, and I might not just make you piss your pants." Hisomu said as she raised her eyebrows in a repeating fashion - it was morning, or rather incredibly early, and she wanted progress at her own pace.

Snowfall In A Storm of Thunder Empty
PostSubject: Re: Snowfall In A Storm of Thunder   Snowfall In A Storm of Thunder EmptySat May 21, 2022 5:09 pm

It didn't take much prodding to get Battousen to train- it all came to question, however, when he was asked to train with somebody else. Somebody as intense as this Uchiha who'd just inserted herself into frame. By extension alone, into the boy's drab life. Part of her lack of predilections, as well as her brash nature reminded him a slight of his father's attitude- if a bit less caring, more rough around the edges. He seemed to combat agreeing to training with Hisomu in his head, but a stroke of judgement (be it terrible or genius) prodded him toward the next words he would fashion; "Do you only talk in eye puns? That is.. kind of cool." he admitted, if only to bridge the insurmountable valley of a gap between how the two young nin functioned.

It was rather obvious that Battousen was here to train. What would he stand to lose if he agreed to train with someone of the Uchiha caliber? That is what drove him- not opportunity, per se, but the appearance of this evident shortcut. He was eager to learn the clone technique for his own reasons, some of which being to grab his own lunch without needing to get out of bed to do it, doing chores without needing to do chores, and the like. Apart from laze alone, he did strive to become a ninja. It was but one basic technique, but it was a requirement toward the greater, larger path before him. And so with that in mind, one can't blame him for what followed.

"I'll train with you. Just ease up on the pants-pissing, alright? These are my dad's old Genin clothes." Battousen smiled, conflicted as he was about how to feel about the words that came out of his mouth. He both admired his father and avoided him- he was a great shinobi, though a dreadful and impatient teacher. The young Yuki then laid claim, after seeing the sanguine eye of the Uchiha manifest upon Hisomu's otherwise plain and rough appearance; "Are all the people from your Clan this intense?" sighed he.

Nevertheless, the next lingering second was consumed by sheer absorption. Much unlike Battousen's appearance, which inspired a vivid, lazy haze, his focus on the performed seals was nigh on inimitable. He produced them of his own, mimicking the Uchiha's movements in his own style and form, if a bit slower overall. Hisomu has had practice with this technique, being a Genin and all. The Yuki boy, on the other hand, had only read about it in the Academy's sourcebook. He knew some of his other classmates were already practicing it, producing the intended effect- and far be it for him to be left behind. In spite of appearances, Battousen was serious when he needed to be. Given a bit more time, the student began pouring his Chakra into the seals whilst practicing them. It wasn't much Chakra to speak of, but his control- that was the herald of a potentially great medic-to-be.

"I'm- I'm doing something." but no clone came about as of yet. It was in picturing the intended effect that he failed, so far.

Snowfall In A Storm of Thunder Empty
PostSubject: Re: Snowfall In A Storm of Thunder   Snowfall In A Storm of Thunder EmptySat May 21, 2022 5:43 pm

Just what in the seven worlds of her imagination had this kid just been smoking? Hisomu’s head tilted slightly to the left as her mouth was slightly agape, her eyes blinking in uncertainness as this unusual kid kept talking about all this unnecessary detail about his clothes being his dad’s, the pissing your pants and eye-puns. It was genuinely a very unusual surprise for Hisomu, and a surprise that did catch her slightly off-guard for this fellow was weird, too weird. Hisomu furrowed her eyebrows as her gaze shifted down from his face and onto his hands to watch his hand-seals, for this was very much an amateur at display. Her tongue lightly licked her lips as she processed the situation inside of her head – for how to proceed, how to interact with this clearly mentally struggling kid. Even Hisomu had taught herself how to use this very basic jutsu, yet this kid was out here wearing his dad’s clothes and struggling with basic math. Seriously, were the other clans this inept, goddamn.

She shook her head in disbelief before answering with a few confirming words of yeah-yeah, and so on. Hisomu waved her hand dismissively at him and then in a circular fashion to signal to the dumbass kid to continue his practice – but Hisomu in this case, her Sharingan was already looking at him – and that meant susceptible to her genjutsu. Now, unlike the rest of the mongrels from the other villages, Hisomu specialized in genjutsu – weaponized fighting inside of the mind, and this was an introduction to it.

Hisomu’s figure, where she stood – kept her place, as a brush of leaves came by to cover her figure for a moment. Truthfully, Hisomu wasn’t there anymore, but a perfect replica of her – a ‘thing’. It was strikingly perfect in every way to her, and just like her.  In this scenario, however, it seemed as if nothing had changed to the fellow Yuki. Although, it soon changed as Hisomu began weaving the hand-seals for a very pretty jutsu that goes by the name ‘Fireball’. It was your typical jutsu, C-Rank, fireball.

Now, in reality – Hisomu’s true position would be elsewhere as she had moved and was concealed to this boy’s senses. She appeared right before him, the ‘thing’, but Hisomu was moving away to sit down by a nearby boulder and simply perceive how this Yuki was going to handle it. Now – the difference in this was that every fiery ball of fire that the ‘thing’ shot at him would purposefully miss him at the end, but just about it.
"I recommend getting those clones out real quick before those balls funnily enough strike you!" The 'thing' called out at the Yuki as it was weaving up another fiery ball of fire. The heat was there, everything was there - but the aim was just off at the end, if the boy wasn't stressing out enough at that. However, if he did manage to summon his clones - the ball would hit them instead.  "Just go through the academy jutsu, and you'll be fineeeeeeeee!"

Snowfall In A Storm of Thunder Empty
PostSubject: Re: Snowfall In A Storm of Thunder   Snowfall In A Storm of Thunder EmptySat May 21, 2022 6:40 pm

In the beginning, one couldn't really say that Battousen would've noticed anything regardless of whether he was focusing on the properties of the hard-boiled Genin's Sharingan or not. It wasn't entirely that he was oblivious to it, nor was he clueless; the kid had been told what the the kaleidoscopic, secretive Uchiha eyesight can harbour in its power by his own parents. In a Village where the Uchiha Clan resided, after all, there was bound to be those who considered it competition. The best thing to do with competition is to learn all about it, Battousen's mother used to always parrot as though she had been affected by it in the far past. No- it was the sheer focus that the boy had been pouring into his Jutsu that entirely distracted his otherwise keen mind from realizing what was truly occurring. It was the flow of Chakra which he felt coursing throughout his body that Battousen, apt in its control, was swallowed into and immersed from.

What was that heat? It certainly was not his Chakra- but it surely was there. The girl was in front of him, though from the side came the sensation of immutable, recognizable warmth. The kind of warmth one would palpably feel when sitting too close to a campfire, though coupled with a frightening realization that it was closing in. This imminent danger warned the young boy perhaps more than it ought to have, for in Hisomu's crude attempt to make him act fast, she had managed to draw out a reaction which could have only been instinctual. The philosophers of the time often tout Chakra as an extension of the body itself- as not only second nature, but our nature. Perhaps this is what Battousen felt as he, in his panic, focused all too well and produced a wealthy ring of alabaster smoke in front of him. Perhaps that is what his clone felt as well, as it emerged from the rising, billowing smoke in its form; an illusory version of Battousen through and through, down to the placement of the hairs.

Once the boy had produced his doppelgaenger, it was his own mistake and blunder that he did not turn to look at him- for he would have then realized that the balls of raging fire had been fake all along. Still, the Yuki boy was far less than done- with a side-glare of forced focus given the sense of danger he'd begun feeling, he would produce the seals necessary to perform another Jutsu that he'd read about in the Academy's textbook- taking the place of a nearby boulder to avoid any stray fire balls which may have been heading his way. In another bedlam puff of smoke produced by his sheer will to get to safety from the madwoman's pyromaniac tendency, he would then attempt to use up the rest of his then-controlled Chakra to transform into a cat. That final part of his master plan- as he traded tooth for claw and skin for fur, Battousen would have held onto hope that the fire would be disruptive enough to mask his transformation. Woe be it for him that there really weren't any real fires going on, however, for that whole endeavour made him look dumb. Just a scaredy-cat clawing its way between two rocks until he seemingly was out of sight- behind rocky cover whilst he turned back into himself.

"What the-.. hell is going on?" he would wheeze and pant, catching his breath to recollect himself.

Snowfall In A Storm of Thunder Empty
PostSubject: Re: Snowfall In A Storm of Thunder   Snowfall In A Storm of Thunder EmptySat May 21, 2022 7:20 pm

There was simply something about this whole art of the trade for Hisomu to witness, yet she could not quite place the finger on which part of it got her worked up. Perhaps it was the whole ordeal of witnessing someone fall under your genjutsu that had Hisomu intrigued, or perhaps it was the ordeal of witnessing someone run around like a mouse having the cat right at it heal. In this scenario however, said cat would be roaring balls of fire. Hisomu raised her hand up to her mouth and bit down on one of her long nails as she continued to observe the interaction between the boy and her genjutsu. It continued for a fair bit by the looks of it as well as she watched one of the clones materialize into existence out of nowhere.

Huh. It took some time but at least the boy could use the most basic of jutsu by now – and all it took was some illusionary combat that had him up and running for his life. Hisomu quietly chuckled to herself as she stretched her arm out in front of her and eyed the back of her hand. It continued for a bit before the boy popped into existence next to the boulder, she had positioned herself. She’d stumble backwards and land on her rear as she connected with the ground – and whilst she was able to react in time, it was still a surprise to witness the odds at play, but what stood out the post was what happened right after. It was that this little silly goose turned himself into a cat and was just prancing all over the area and in between two rocks. It was a bit odd and much funnier now that she thought about it just a wee longer, that this boy was seeing it all – and how he was hiding behind those rocks. Yeah… Hisomu snorted as she shook her head and in the realm of bullying, the ‘replica’ of Hisomu would simply and oddly enough, run around to a different position where its fiery fireballs would have the opportunity once more to continue this little havoc.
The game was simply just beginning, and Hisomu had all the time in the world to let this boy experience the spectacle of genjutsu – but… Hisomu leaned up against another boulder and held a hand up to her, for the pain was accumulating – and she felt herself drain of energy with every second. Yet, this was a process needed to mature her sharingan further. It was a necessary interaction, but to have the sharingan stagnate here was irritating Hisomu with each passing second – and this little interaction had to be worth it. Hisomu groaned to herself at the possibility of not progressing further. Perhaps if she was lucky the interaction would grant an additional tomoe, or her next mission would – or perhaps not? Whatever it was going to result in, it had to be capable of proving it and showing in the time of need, because her reserves were not going to hold up at this rate the interaction was going, absolutely not.

Anyhow, whilst Hisomu was groaning to herself from the rising drainage of her energy and the possibility of her sharingan maturing, the show would continue. Hisomu in this case though was regressing a bit back and pacing her breathing before shifting to a different position to see how the Yuki would react. Yet… It was if someone was calling out to her, someone by the name of Pitbull, and saying the word ‘fireball.’

Snowfall In A Storm of Thunder Empty
PostSubject: Re: Snowfall In A Storm of Thunder   Snowfall In A Storm of Thunder EmptySun May 22, 2022 5:39 am

The barrage didn't see an end yet; but it was both Hisomu and the Yuki student who were feeling restless. One for her usage of a significantly draining technique, and the other for the pressure of dealing with the stray fire ball volley which had forced his inaction into intent, into incentive. But after breathing slower, the panic that so clearly defined Battousen settled- it was no more than enough of a reminder to spring him into action. From the crevice between the two rocks behind which he lay hiding, the boy noticed something; the fire wasn't hitting anything. That was the first heralding of something suspicious, to him. It was enough of a herald, indeed, to make the boy question what was truly happening. And so he sharply reached over to the top of the rocks, where he'd buried the kunai prior to keep his pouch from being taken by the wind- because let us be honest, at such an altitude, there was always bound to be an intrusive amount of wind. Clasping his lithe fingers around the beige straps of his weapon, he would then dart over to the open and hurl his ninja tool toward the visible, and now potentially fake (in Battousen's mind) Hisomu Uchiha.

In spite of his age and in spite of his null-rank, his skill with a throwing weapon was ample enough to cut through the wind and deliver what could very well be a disruptive blow to Hisomu's attack, by extension to her Genjutsu that the boy was slowly, if somewhat unassumingly, catching himself into. But if he was right, this would be enough of a gamble to work. Battousen's sharp, daggered eyes bled with focus now, hanging onto his plan to work for if it failed, he had little else to work with in this mountaintop. Little else, but Hisomu running herself out of Chakra in her own attempt to test past her limits. That, perhaps, would become her downfall today. As the boy's illusory clone faded, the moments passed slowly enough to be irate. He had found his courage.

Snowfall In A Storm of Thunder Empty
PostSubject: Re: Snowfall In A Storm of Thunder   Snowfall In A Storm of Thunder EmptySun May 22, 2022 7:12 am

Hisomu was going to shiv someone at the end of the day, that was for sure – perhaps force an emotional moment to further her sharingan, you know – typical Uchiha stuff. Besides that, as Hisomu idled as she silently groaned while holding her hand up to her eye, the Uchiha waddled a bit back to observe from a proper distance – a couple feet further back. Now, what did stand out to her – was that Battousen reached over the top of the rocks to grab the kunai he had buried earlier. Funnily enough, Hisomu didn’t do anything about it, but she did look at what was behind where her clone supposed was. Hopefully no one would walk up at such an unfortunate time and be the victim of a kid throwing weaponry around.

Hisomu sucked her teeth as she watched the kunai flying across the grounds and into her clone – and at that point, Hisomu decided against continuing her genjutsu for any longer. Once more, the swish of leaves would bash away at the position of the ‘thing’ that was Hisomu’s copy – and it dashed towards Hisomu’s real position to overlay with her positioning. It was simply Uchiha things, and her chakra reserves already being about halved at this point just reminded her to keep her guard up. Although, it was an academy student, but she shouldn’t let it become a habit. Hisomu resisted the urge to laugh, for now as she was once more visible before albeit further back – and her sharingan was still on.

"Congrats, silly!" Hisomu said whilst clapping her hands in a somewhat condescending but approving manner. It simply took this boy a bit of the real deal to get his shit together and formulate a plan. Hell - he had even gotten all the three basic jutsu required for the exam under his belt, simple as. Hisomu was such a great teacher, yeah she was - but the deal wasn't over.

Hisomu's congratulating would continue, but the boy would probably notice that her Sharingan was still turned on - and such an ordeal was simply her exercising. Not. Hisomu's following jutsu that'd be cast was the Tricker's Spoof - a technique that would skip out on an essential detail in a predetermined movement. If Battousen sought to strike her, he'd find himself perhaps forgetting to pull through with his punch or throw another kunai. It was a bit of a tricker's thing, but boy did it freaking drain her reserves.
How does it feel to be on the frying pan of flames? It's thrilling ain't it? You've got your techniques now under your belt to handle those bullies and what else, yeah? Although, that Kunai. . I did think you hit someone's nan. Eh, who cares." Hisomu said 'jokingly' whilst shrugging before laughing. Who knew if she was right, or if this was another genjutsu - or something else. Besides that, Hisomu was rather thrilled to have had this experience, and to push herself even further beyond - and something that would trigger another transformation within her bloodline.

Hisomu's enduring training with her family members, specifically her brother, and training with numerous other individuals had pushed her sharingan to step it onto the next level - simply through the power of stubbornness. Already then, Hisomu could feel that her Sharingan's prowess was climbing onto greater heights with every passing moment - and a shock that almost caused her to trip backwards onto the ground from the weight being pulled off her shoulders. Sheesh. Hisomu thought to herself as she raised her hand up to her left eye. She wasn't sure what it was - but her second tomoe had materalized within her eye.

PostSubject: Re: Snowfall In A Storm of Thunder   Snowfall In A Storm of Thunder EmptySun May 22, 2022 7:44 am

Battousen didn't have the heart to point out to the delusional Uchiha that the kunai had lodged itself upon another rock- it was dandy enough that she wasn't feeling up to tormenting the kid any more. Regardless, the young boy had pinned down an aspect of Hisomu's personality already; that she was sometimes bathing in her own arrogance all too freely. He was partial to it- yet it wasn't something that he liked displayed on others. Especially if said others were putting him under Genjutsu.

"That was really uncool. You know there's other ways to train than that, right?" Battousen blurted out in the heat of the moment, visibly upset that the Uchiha had proven something to him; she was just as bad, if not worse than his parents in teaching. It wasn't the lazy voice in him that said this, but the one borne out of discomfort. He didn't like when things were unpredictable, nor when the pace of training was unclear. "Please don't do that again. I hated it." was a simple sentence then uttered; children knew how to be blunt even when it cost them a new friendship- and boy, was Battousen all the more vocal when he didn't like things. It's how he made his parents respect his pace, his wishes; it would hopefully work on someone as crude as Hisomu.

Regardless, the boy walked to retrieve his kunai only to hear the gasping thud of the girl behind him- something which prompted only a shrug off of him. Reaching the rock in which the tool was planted, Battousen planted his boot on it for resistance and yanked it from its deep perch with some labour- the boy wasn't physically strong nor did he ever wish to be. His soul had long since settled on a different path, even youthful and naive as he was. But he couldn't really blame Hisomu for being so brash- nor was he truly able to, kids as they were. He felt guilty enough in his outburst that less crude words followed, some concern borne out of his post-fact wish to be better than rude; "Are you alright there?" he would pocket the kunai and walk toward the girl, lifting an arm to pat away some dirt from his shoulder only to discover that a part of his fishnets had been torn open- a 'tsk' followed. Great. Just what he needed.

Snowfall In A Storm of Thunder Empty

If Hisomu knew whatever this boy was thinking, she’d flip him off and backhand across the cheek thrice over for thinking such horrendous things about her. It was after-all her incredibly method of teaching, that this hooligan could tie his own shoes in the morning, but jutsu instead. What was he going to do about it, huh? Was Battousen going to cry, going to piss his pants or maybe weep to his parents about getting put under a genjutsu at the training grounds and getting three essential jutsu under his belt? His words, by intention, flew right through one of her ears and out the other, for Hisomu did not want to hear such things. She was an Uchiha, and sure she was arrogant – but it was justified arrogance, and if anyone had an issue with it, she was going to put them under a severe genjutsu that’d make them piss their own pants.

Hisomu’s eyes rolled at the statement from the guy, clearly not buying into it as he went and retrieved his kunai like loser he was. Her Sharingan turned off, and her energy began to return, but hey – what was that just about in her head? It was rather rude, and incredibly offensive but eh… She wasn’t going to respect his pace at all, and it was simply going to be his thing to deal with – simple as. Hisomu’s glance turned up at him as he returned to ask whether she was alright or not, and boy was his fishnet. This buffoon had somehow managed to rip and tear it whilst he was under her genjutsu. Shaking her head, Hisomu answered "Yeah. I am but I ain't promising shit - it worked." Hisomu grumbled as she pushed herself back up on her feet and slapped her own face very lightly to snap back into reality, oops there goes gravity. Hisomu noticed the fishnet once more, albeit intentionally, and pointed at it with a shaky finger. "Looks rough. Show that off and the bullies won't bully you. Or just beat them up. It's what I do - genjutsu though. Say - about that, do you know what your worst nightmare is?" Hisomu said wriggling her eyebrows before bursting into laughter. "I'm joking - not like I'll put one from Kumogakure under a harmful genjutsu, dummy. Silly goose. Silly dumb goose. What's your name, goose?" Hisomu inquired as she rubbed her right eye with her hand. Perhaps at this rate, if this goose didn't run off and weep she could throw him into a quick exam, emergency exam, and get his ass out on the field so she could have a partner during a mission. You know - a meat shield. Just for fun, really.

There's no geese in Kumogakure, Battousen initially came to think. Geese lived in lakes, duh. The Uchiha must not know what she was on about- maybe that second tomoe only manifests when you hit your head a bit too hard. But alas, the Yuki shrugged; "Battousen, from the Yuki Clan. I live just down this spire- you know, in the mountains, where there's no geese." the boy scoffed with a smile. Granted, he still didn't like Hisomu. He was guarded around that girl now, seeing as her approach was rather different to his in a lot of things. But she had a headband, she was a Genin- so she must know a bit more. That, he was smart enough to admit to himself. And thus he made the first move toward a handshake, perhaps for the first person in quite a few years that would be friends with him. The thought of extending such a greeting with Hisomu, of all people, was one which exerted labour to even attempt for Battousen- but he was always one to let water flow under the bridge. Kids will be kids; some grow resentful, but Battousen forgave easily.

Whether or not the gesture was reciprocated, the boy then said;
"I'm real close to graduating, so watch your back. I just hope we don't end up on the same team." he would tempt fate- of course he would. Why else would the Yuki boy say something like that? In truth, he couldn't wait to graduate, to show his parents that he has really grown. To prove to them that he could go the entire way and come out on top. That was the type of kid that they'd made him into, someone who constantly vied for approval by the older generations of powerful shinobi of the far and near past.

Without opting to rest in his laurels after an eventful session of training, young Battousen assumed a more relaxed posture and pocketed both his hands along the opened seams on either side of his hips, kicking a small pebble off in the distance for it to travel far and away. It was then that a powerful breeze picked up and flushes his cloud-like hair into a frenzy, comically covering his eyes for a minute before he looked toward the direction of the wind- promptly staring out into the peerless horizon with the same smile which donned his features from before. "Before long, I'll be strong. You can bet on that- and then there won't be any bullies to tease me." unprompted, he told Hisomu. It was muh like a promise one would give to himself, but a witness brought more reality to it- a sense of underlying duty to himself and to the person he made the promise toward. Medical-nin were, more often than not, thought of as the backbone of wars. Strong, in their own way, but not strong enough to topple any resistance. He wanted to be the greatest one there was- to be sung throughout history. He wanted to prove everybody wrong- and to start, he needed to become a Genin.

"I'm ready to face my exams." Battousen crossed his arms over his chest and decidedly looked back to Hisomu, who was likely trying, herself, to figure out what just happened to her eyesight. With the horizon ahead and hope aplenty, it was rather unlike the careless Yuki to notice his pouch of medical supplies flying off into the clouds, lost to the wind for some lucky shinobi or kunoichi to likely come across. The same pouch he'd stabbed his kunai into previously, to keep it from flying off. What sweet irony.

Hisomu nodded throughout the entire conversation as the boy kept on talking like some headless chicken that did not know when to stop. It was a very 'inspiring' conversation that he gave as he went on  about his whole dream about becoming the strongest and all that bullshit with bullies and unnecessary detail as he thought too literal about the geese. She was comparing his appearance to that of a goose. He looked like a goose. Goose-looking Yuki. Hisomu shook her head afterwards  before forcing a slight smile as she just looked at him.

Nope. In this scenario, Hisomu wasn't figuring out what had happened to her eyesight in this scenario, simply because the goose of the Yuki was too distracting in his actions, motions and words. She wasn't sure whether to laugh at him like a bully, or laugh with him at his ambitions. She had something similar, but it was more so mastering her bloodline rather than become this overly ambitious king of the world.

"You look like a goose, dummy." Hisomu said reaching out with a hand to point at his hair and then his face before bursting into laughter as his equipment went flying away. It wasn't her fault this boy hadn't seen the outside world or seen a goose on the market, shut in boy. Hisomu shook her head again as the laughter died down and all that.

"Sure, about the exams. Just nail it and you'll be fine. If you're lucky, I'll be there to see if you're cheating or not - how does that sound? Sounds pretty fun, doesn't it? Make you piss your pants if you try to cheat." Hisomu's laughter started up again before she forced another response. "I'm kidding, but go to the academy and get yourself signed up - they might just see if you're capable of it. There ain't a reason to hold back someone who has been taught by an Uchiha, namely me. I am after-all capable of powerful jutsu already, being me and an Uchiha and all." Hisomu said, really applying that Uchiha heritage onto her phrasing, perhaps a bit too much and perhaps intentionally, who knew.

Anyhow, she'd bend her legs and jump backwards into a fantastic backflip simply because she could and out of the training grounds to disappear for the foreseeable future. "Good luck, goose-boy!" It was either that or piss boy.

As soon as Hisomu was out of sight, she'd turn on her sharingan once more to perceive the entire world around her in a completely different perspective. Now - everything was utmost perfect and almost clear. It was surreal, and she felt as if she could witness anything incoming and react in time - and it was honestly a surreal sensation throughout her body. Now, she just had to continue her training and obtain the third tomoe and proceed with the missions to apprehend any goons thinking they're smart enough to mess with her and her meatshield. Here comes Hisomu Uchiha - Genjutsu Menace to the entire world, in the training! Watch out tailed beasts and Jinchuuriki, and watch out Shojin from piss village in the land of fire. She was going to make him stab himself with his blade - that's what she would.
