Anything no Jutsu

Komugi hummed to herself as she wandered through the forest. It was a gloomy day, with thick clouds overhead and heavy showers that only recently receded to a light sprinkle. Each step made a squishing sound as her sandals fell into the soaked grass, and periodic gusts of wind would pepper her with rain drops lifted from the surrounding plants.

Still, the young ninja-in-training appeared to be in good spirits. It was a cheerful tune she sang, as if reassuring nature - or herself - that days like these were okay too. Holding onto the corners of her cloak, she reached backward and gently raised her arms up and down, flapping the garment like a pair of wings as she walked. Very soon- no, there it was; a clearing with various target boards, wooden dummies, and slightly rusted weaponry.  Fists moving to her hips, Komugi puffed up her chest and smiled triumphantly as she looked over the training ground like she'd just found a hidden treasure chest. Really, she just needed to psych herself up for what was to come.

Today's the day!

Leaning forward, the ninja hopeful broke into a run, flapping her cape rapidly as she burst into the clearing with her eyes locked on a particular dummy. Halfway to her destination, she brought her hands in front of her face forming the seal of the Ram. As the dummy came within arms reach, she jumped in a high arc over it's tree stump of a head, and angled herself sideways while revealing her true motive.

"Waahh! Ki Nobori no jutsu!" Komugi cried as she brought her knees up and kicked her feet out toward the tall wooden pillar behind the dummy. Finding her target was the easy part, but Komugi didn't simply intend to hit the pillar. Concentrating chakra to the soles of her feet, she aimed to stick the landing - literally - and remain standing horizontally. In her desperation, however, the amount of chakra she used was far too high, and like it was protected by a giant bubble, the girl was violently bounced away.

It's still impossible for me, huh?

Most people would probably be in trouble in this situation, but Komugi seemed quite comfortable in mid-air. Recovering adeptly, she latched on to the training dummy she had previously leaped over, wrapped her legs around what would be considered its neck, and hung upside down at its log of a chest. Cradling her arms behind her head, Komugi burst out laughing at her failure. Besides, it's not like anyone saw..

Mika had walked into the Training grounds looking for a place to train, the storm would make the ground wet and slippery meaning she could train to get used to those condition, so the Idea was to get to the training grounds to do just that, and as she walked she was checking her gear and supplies, she even had some food with her like usual so she could train longer, she had a few things she needed to work on, one being body conditioning since that's all she really had.

As she walked along though she was also thinking up other things she could do, techniques she could make, and some extra supplies she could buy, she would need some Shuriken and Kunai that was certain, she might even be able to use some explosive tags depending on how they worked, maybe send for the training weights her clan made, those would definitely help her out since they could fit under her other gear. The Battle Breakers would be something to add to her arsenal and would be quite helpful if she had to use her clan style of fighting.

As she walked she also had to change course from where she was headed, as she spotted the kinds from the academy that tended to pick on her since she was making it seem she was rather hopeless at Ninjutsu and Genjutsu, and barely average at Taijutsu, so they had been picking on her, nothing physical thankfully, if they did that she would likely have to deal with them, but them constantly joking and talking would make training all the harder if they were around, so she simply slipped past them and headed for an area in the training grounds she rarely headed to mostly cause it wasn't as deep as she usually went, but it was the easiest way to avoid the annoyance.

As she continued to make a mental catalogue of things she should get and things she should train, she heard someone shouting and she looked over and seen a girl flying through the air over a training dummy, it was a good move so far, then she heard her and seen her making the hand seal and realized what she was trying to do as the girl landed on the target... and then promptly bounced right off it, if that was meant to be the Tree climbing technique well.. she flubbed it, but the girl didn't seem bothered.

Though with the girl hanging upside down like that she was now facing Mika who was watching her and Mika waved to her "Hello there..." she said as she looked on at the girl who had somewhat failed her little attempt, but that's what training was about after all.

Hearing a voice, Komugi's laughter trailed off, and she slowly opened her eyes that had been squeezed shut as the emotion consumed her. Craning her neck, she tried to focus on the person waving to her but the dark colors they were dressed in played tricks on her eyes. Distracted, the grip her legs had on the dummy loosened and with a small yelp the ninja wannabe dropped onto her head. Following a quick struggle, she moved into a roll and quickly stood up in a T-pose to unconvincingly try to play it all off as intentional.

"Ah-..At the tip of a money's tail there's a patch of bare skin that acts just like a human's finger tips" she quickly blurted out, also bringing her hands forward and wiggling her fingers at the mention of 'finger tips'. "But I don't have a tail. See?"

As she added this, Komugi turned a 180 and stuck her rump out. Her pants were wet from the tumble, and there was grass and mud in her hair, but something took precedence over her sense of shame. Watching the newcomer over her shoulder, she tried to place their face, assuming they were a student at the academy as well. If they met before, the last thing she wanted right now was for them to know she forgot their name.

"See?" she continued, swaying her hips from side to side. She'd buy herself some time.

Mika looked at the girl as she hung there, but then she noticed her fully and dropped onto her head, before rolling to her feet and posing for a second, though Mika had to wonder if she really did fall on purpose considering the yelp she let out before she fell, and as Mika was about to ask if she was okay, the girl started to go on about.... monkey tails? Okay the girl was officially a little weird, then again she had run into a blind boy with a sword before with an interesting technique so running into strange people wasn't all that bad now was it?

Though the girl made it weird even further by showing her finger tips and then her butt as if to prove she didn't have a tail, and as Mika stood there she looked at the girl and then recognition showed on her face, she had seen her before, now that she thought of it, at the Academy! But she was usually more focused on taking notes or ignoring the teasing she got for being bad at everything, to really take a good look around the room, something that now that she thought of it she likely should do since the people around her would end up becoming Ninja that so that would fall under the things she would need to know later.

looking at the girl as she randomly shook her hips at her Mika blinked a few times and then started walking over to her, it would be about then that her height... or lack there of, would likely become rather obvious to the other girl "Yup no tail by the looks of it..." she said with a giggle as she walked over to the dummy she had tried to land on "though I don't know why you started to talk about monkeys, I was just going to ask if you were okay what with you landing on your head a few seconds ago, sorry if I startled you I didn't mean to throw off your concentration" she said with a friendly smile

Komugi did an about face and brought her hands to the sides of her head when reminded she'd just fallen on it. She seemed to be feeling around to make sure it was still in one piece, while simultaneously picking the grass out of her hair. She was occupied by this for no more than a few seconds before being taken aback by how young the other girl was - or at least appeared. There was an air of maturity about her, but this person looked like she might even be younger than Komugi.

A new student?

"Monkeys are amazing, and super cute! Don't you think? And you know.."

Without waiting for an answer, Komugi clasped her hands behind her back and moved next to the other girl. She looked her over for a quick moment, then slid along the grass to her other side and did the same. After nodding in affirmation to herself, she pressed her lips together and clenched her hands tighter together, clearly trying to hold something back. Apparently it was too much to bear, because she suddenly lunged at the smaller girl with her arms open wide.

"You kinda look like a little monkey yourself!"

It was probably in Mika's best interest to evade, because if she didn't she would find herself in Komugi's uncomfortable embrace. She would pull Mika in tightly and rub her cheek against the other girls', all while laughing like she just found herself in a playpen full of puppies.

Mika watched the girl as she started to talk about monkeys again, the girl was likely very obsessed with monkeys, and well if she liked them that was okay, people had their hobbies so that was just fine she smiled a bit more as the girl started to clean up her air a bit more then Mika watched her as she started to stare at her making Mika look back at her with a quizzical look, was she studying her? But why was she studying her? It was a bit strange as the girl seemed to study her.

Mika continued to watch the girl as she circled around her still slightly confused as she watched the strange girl, until she started to look like she was trying to not say something till she suddenly lunged at her and said she looked like a monkey as well and Mika had to hold back her initial reaction which was to smack the girl, that wouldn't be a good thing though, and then she thought about dodging out of the way, and that was possible but considering her reputation of being barely passible at Taijutsu, and this girl did it so suddenly that her suddenly dodging wasn't exactly fitting to that.

So Mika let out a meep instead before the girl was on her and hugging her and rubbing cheeks with her and the strange girl was giggling and Mika made a small cute pout "I am not a monkey... you're just silly" she said trying to stay pouty but then she started to giggle as well "I'm Mika what's your name you silly?" she said wriggling a bit but then resigning herself to the strange girls embrace but she was giggling still.

"Ah-!"

Realizing she indeed hadn't introduced herself, Komugi released Mika and hopped back a couple feet. After a quick spin, she leaned to one side and posed with two fingers forming a V over one eye.

"Komugi~~..Sarutobi!" she announced in a playfully dramatic way. "Would you have guessed?" she asked, pointing to her hair. It was a lighter color than typical members of the clan, which Komugi assumed was common knowledge.

With a slight tilt of her head, Komugi wondered if perhaps she'd overshared. She realized Mika didn't specify a family name, and she couldn't guess it going off of merely looks alone. Smiling through her curiosity, she decided she wouldn't pry into it just yet, and instead brought her hands together to form a couple handseals. She didn't finish the series, though, and paused to stare intensely at Mika.

"Did you come here to train too, Mika?" she asked, maybe a little too eagerly. "Do you know the Transformation Technique? I'm going to turn into you now, 'kay?"

But even as she said this, Komugi knew there was still a high chance she'd turn into something that didn't look much like her new friend. She vocalized her concentration with a hum anyway, giving Mika a chance to object.

Mika was quickly released and the odd girl made a strange pose as she introduced herself, and Mika learned she was a Sarutobi, interesting well least she knew the clan now, but then the girl pointed to her hair and asked she could have guessed and looking at it she already knew the Physical and some historical things about the clan due to her time in the Cloister, and it was true the girls hair was rather light though being a country bumpkin she likely wouldn't have heard, or perhaps didn't even know.

"Oh I am from outside the village my family just moved here.. I didn't know your clan had something about their hair at all, that's so cool!" she said with a smile to her, though as the girl started to do hand seals Mika looked at her a moment as she seen the girl staring at her intently, though she was asked if she was here to train she was about to ask but before she could answer she was also asked about the transformation technique and the girl stated she was going to change into her, this girl was very obviously a bundle of energy and it made Mika smile.

"Yeah I came to the Academy from the country, like I said my family just moved here, and umm, I have heard of it yeah if you wanna change into me go ahead I would like to see it" she answered with a large smile, she actually was glad to meet someone as energetic as this girl, it was nice, most people she ran into so far was ether the bullies or that one rather morose blind boy.. oh and that laid back guy too. so someone energetic was a nice change.

Komugi listened to Mika's story over her drawn out hum while finishing the handseals and concentrating her chakra. Given the go-ahead, she copied what she'd gathered of the other girl's general appearance and started to - rather magically - copy it over her own in a type of illusion. There was a large puff of scentless smoke, but when it cleared, Komugi still looked exactly the same. The jutsu attempt hadn't been a complete failure, but she abandoned it knowing it was severely flawed, and she didn't want her new friend to think she saw her as something that was surely ugly.

"Whoops, I messed up" she said with a silly grin, giving herself a little knock over the head with her knuckles. "I'm not really good at this stuff, especially when someone's watching. But, do you know any neat techniques? If you only heard about the Transformation you probably haven't learned any of the other big ones yet. Water Walking? Maybe your family has a really amazing super awesome secret technique that nobody knows about but you?!"

Without realizing it, each question brought Komugi in closer. And leaning forward, she'd now be almost nose-to-nose with Mika unless the other girl retreated. There was also a bizarre look in her eyes, as if she absolutely had to know the answer to each, and would likely give chase if Mika chose to dismiss them instead.

Mika watched the girl as the jutsu started and the puff of smoke she was used to seeing from the other side of the Jutsu when she was training it herself popped up, but then as it cleared up and faded she noticed the girl hadn't changed form at all, not one bit, not even hair color changed, did she do it wrong? did she cancel it? It was hard to tell at the moment but she stood there looking at the girl and blinking a bit before finally opening her mouth to ask what happened.

But before she could even ask the girl explained that she messed up and gently bonked her own head, before explaining further about not being good at this stuff, Mika closed her mouth and smiled a little at that, well that was fair though likely the girl could go a lot father then she could with it just from what clan Mika was from, but she didn't get to even say anything or react before the girl was asking her questions rapidly and getting closer and closer with each question, and as Mika stood there with the girl right in front of her she blinked in surprise as the girl was now basically towering over her with a look in her eye like she would chase after her if she didn't answer.

Mika lifted a finger between them and gently poked the girls nose and said "boop!" and then used the slight moment of confusion to back up a bit before giggling ""I don't really know any techniques, not yet anyway, I am trying to learn though. And I have heard of those two techniques you were talking about too but I don't know how to do them myself, as for my family.. I wouldn't really know, I don't think they have anything like that, they are farmers from out in the country, not a clan of well known Ninja" she said with a kind smile.

"Though you seem really eager to know all this Sarutobi, is your clan Famous or something?" she asked her while giggling a little at how eager the girl was, She seemed friendly enough.

The poke to her nose seemed to bring Komugi back from whatever manic trance she was entering, as it stopped her in her tracks. After a few rapid blinks, her eyes returned to normal, and she was able to calmly listen to Mika's explanation. It was only now starting to sink in - what it meant for someone to have come from outside the village. Mika's follow up question was like on switch though, and Komugi's energy seemed to return. She shook her head, and her finger much faster.

"No no, it's Komugi. Call me Komugi!" she playfully scolded. "Or Senpai," she added with a wink. "And if you've never met a Sarutobi, then I have something really fun to show you sometime. But for now, let's train!"

Not intending to take no for an answer, Komugi jumped back to make some space and brought her hands together. They weren't perfectly fluid, but she managed to run through a short series of handseals without error. This time she wasn't focusing on Mika, but instead her own self image. Holding the final seal, she exerted a little extra oomph in her chakra control, and as a result there was a puff of smoke next to her. It cleared quickly, and next to Komugi was another Komugi.
Kind of..
This new Komugi had droopy eyes, a thick brow, and broad shoulders. It was more like a cosplaying gorilla.

"Bunshin no Jut- AHCK!" Komugi cut herself off in shock at what she created, then quickly waved her hand through the clone like she was clearing away a bad smell. It vanished the same way it appeared. "Let's try something else. Can you show me what you came here to work on, ninja-farmer Mika?"

She was glad to see Komugi return to normal from the poke to her nose, now Mika had to wonder it that was the girls 'act normal again' button, and she would have to remember it for later when she started to act up again, though the fact the strange girl even had a 'return to normal... for you...' button was rather strange in and of itself. Komugi then corrected her and waggled her finger at her as she did so, then she suggested Senpai? well the girl was in the Academy as well but wasn't she in the same year? it was really hard to tell from what she understood the Academy only had one class level really, maybe it was because Komugi was taller then her?

Regardless the energetic girl mentioned showing her something fun and Mika was a bit interested, but for now the girl mentioned training, right she should get to that, though with Komugi around best she could do was simple body strengthening, and even then she would have to hold back on that, though maybe she could work on more basic ShurikenJutsu or basic Taijutsu? she could do that, though she would have to keep her training light, she had a fake reputation of being barely average at those to keep after all.

Though then Komugi hopped back and started to make hand signs, and while it wasn't the smoothest thing she had ever seen, Mika seen the girl knew the proper ones at least, and she started to realize it was the Clone Technique, well the girl was talking about training so likely she was training the techniques they would need to graduate, though Mika had already trained those in secret, she could easily flub them for the training, not that she really needed to with her personal issue with Chakra. The puff of smoke beside Komugi then signaled that the Clone Jutsu was done, and Mika looked over to the Clone of Komugi.

And then... Mika started to laugh, she had done the handseals right that much Mika knew, but her self image was ether flawed, or the speed was to slow or it was the lack of smooth transition that didn't help the case, but all in all it made a rather hilarious image of Komugi appear, and Mika was not expecting that at all with hoe Confident the girl had been, and she laughed, she just laughed and laughed till she fell tot he ground and continued to laugh a bit, especially with the reaction Komugi had made on seeing her 'perfect' clone. it took her some time to finish laughing after Komugi's question and Mika finally let out a breath as she managed to calm her laughter.

"I am sorry for the laughing.. that was just... I wasn't expecting that... but I shouldn't laugh at least your can actually do the Jutsu, I haven't been able to do it yet" she said as she got back up and dusted off, before moving to the targets and taking a rusted Kunai out of one as well as a training Kunai out of her belt pouch

"I came here to train my body at the moment since my Ninjutsu and Genjutsu... well I am really bad at them.. I figure I should train my body at least a bit, and then focus on the other things once I learn how to control my Chakra better, learning all this stuff about Chakra is a little daunting since I never even heard of it till I came here" she said as she tossed the rusted Kunai at a target and missed badly, before she tossed the training one she had... and also missed.

As Mika began her training, she too turned her attention to the target boards and watched both kunai fly by without so much as nicking a corner of the wood. Squinting her eyes, Komugi peered into the distance in an exaggerated manner and waited as if expecting something else to happen. After a moment of silence, she turned to the smaller girl and tilted her head with a perplexed look.

"What were you aiming at?" she asked, genuinely confused. "Watch, and learn!"

Komugi picked up one of the rusted kunai that had been left irresponsibly lying on the ground. Facing the target, she planted her feet, took a brief moment to take aim, then cast it forward with shameful form. The metal weapon hit the target in nowhere that would gain a lot of points in a game of darts, and with a *thock* it bounced off the wood and went spinning into the bushes. Even though she failed too, Komugi put her hands on her hips and nodded to herself in affirmation. Apparently her own standards had been pretty low.

"It's all in the wrist. Don't worry, you'll get there" she assured Mika, clearly convinced she had done a much better job herself. "Why don't you try again?" Hoping to catch Mika distracted, Komugi slid closer to her supposed farmer friend and reached to pinch and pull her cheeks. "You know, you really laughed hard at me. If you want to train your body, how about I stretch you out?!"

Mika watched the Kunai fly far past her target, it was exactly what she had wanted to have happen so technically she hit her target, she watched Komugi watch the Kunai and the girl just continued to stare off to where they flew even far after they dropped to the ground and when the girl turned around and spoke Mika put an embarrassed look on her face and looked at the ground, it was to plan but hearing someone react like that was still embarrassing to her, though the girl then told her to watch and so Mika looked up to see what she would do.

She watched the girl grab a Kunai and ready herself, and then she threw the Kunai with little to no grace or Form in her throw, it wasn't even a proper throw for a Kunai she was throwing it like it was a ball, and the Kunai flew clumsily through the air and hit the target... barely, and bounced off into the bushes, and Mika had to hide her look of.. well.. surprise at how bad the throw was, but she looked at Komugi and seen the girl was taking it like a triumph, and it was then that technically out of the two Komugi had objectively done better if another person was watching as she had actually managed to hit the target.

That realization made Mika smile a bit, well it was good that her attempt could be seen that way, she had to remember to put a loss less form into the throws to better sell it next time, maybe even take some hints from how Komugi tossed it like a ball to REALLY throw people off, just throw it in the worst way possible that she could manage, that would work even better.

Mika smiled a bit then nodded as Komugi asked about her trying again, and assuring her about her likely getting there eventually, and so Mika reached down to pick up another kunai from the ground, and then she noticed Komugi move closer to her and reach for her cheeks, she stood up and acted like she didn't notice her and let the girl grab and pinch and stretch her cheeks and she meeps and flailed for a moment as her cheeks were pulled.

GAH Nuu I am sorry! it just looked so funny, I shouldn't have laughed I can't even get close to doing that Jutsu" she said flailing a bit more and weakly wriggling to try to escape from her grasp.

Komugi didn't let Mika off too easily, and as soon as she heard her little hostage try to justify making fun of her, she started both pulling and compressing Mika's cheeks to modify the words she was saying. She paused though, realizing that at the same time, Mika was also admitting one of her own serious flaws. Komugi - probably like most students - knew what it was like to struggle with any of the jutsu types, so to say "I can't even get close" suggested a serious problem. Concluding that Mika's outburst was out of relief to learn she wasn't alone made Komugi feel bad about what she was doing, even if it was only for fun. Hiding her change in expression, Komugi wrapped her arms around Mika and forced a playful laugh.

"We can all get there if we keep trying," she said while continuing to cling to Mika until she felt herself calm down. Then, moving back over to the pillar where they originally met, Komugi gave it a slap. "There's one technique I've really been trying to master, but I always mess it up. It's my favorite out of all the ones they've been teaching at the academy. Usually everyone uses a tree to practice, but I like this thing 'cause it's more solid and I don't rip the bark off the poor trees when my chakra blows up."

Okay, I really gotta do it this time!

Kicking off her sandals, Komugi stood facing the pillar and formed a short series of handseals. She was very deliberate with them, and seemed to be concentrating quite intensely. Lifting her right heel, she began to concentrate chakra to the soles of her feet, and hoped there would be some visual representation that Mika could see. Once she felt the desired sensation, she slowly lifted her right foot and placed it flat against the pillar. When she felt stable enough, she leaned her weight into it until she felt secure enough to lift the other foot as well. As she now seemed to be sticking to pillar like some sort of insect, Komugi chanced releasing the final seal and slowly spread her arms for balance. After a couple more wobbly vertical steps, she turned to smile at Mika.

"K-Ki Nobori no Jutsu!" she cheered reluctantly, then flashed a pair of V signs with her fingers. "See, if we just k- EEP!"

Having broken her concentration, Komugi slipped from the pillar. Luckily she didn't have far to fall and landed on her feet, but the moment she touched down on the wet grass they slipped right out from under her again. At the complete mercy of gravity, she landed rump first in a muddy puddle with a bewildered look on her face.

That did not just happen!

Turning to look at a certain someone, Komugi started to laugh, expecting her new friend would do the same. She didn't hold any back, and didn't want Mika to either. A little mud wasn't a big deal, and besides, she'd finally started to really get the hang of the Tree Climbing Technique. It was a happy occasion.

Mika flailed a bit more as her face was squished and stretched by the girl, it wasn't all that painful really, but it was rather uncomfortable, but not in a bad way, the interaction was entertaining at least. Eventually though Komugi released her and Mika rubbed her cheeks as she looked at the taller girl with a pout, but she didn't hold it against her, she just couldn't help but laugh when she seen that failed clone, it was way to funny and unexpected, but at least she had her story to back her up about her horrible skill with the same Jutsu.

The energetic girl then started to talk again, saying they could do it if they tried, well it was good to know that Komugi was the kind to be positive about things and to give a cheer to someone.. even if she was also the kind of person to stretch a person's face and say they were like a monkey, which she still didn't quite get, but well she didn't seem to mean it in a bad way so she was going to take it as a compliment. The Energetic girl that was Komugi then started to talk about a technique she was trying to master, and as she talked about it Mika realized she was talking about the Tree climbing technique, and so as the girl started to get ready to show it off Mika moved back a bit and took a seat on a relatively dry stone.

She watched as komugi started to focus, and though she couldn't see any effect of Chakra, she assumed she was focusing it into her feet to do the Jutsu, she then watched her focus, and Mika remembered her own training for this Jutsu, she took her time, went very slowly, she had to since she had so little chakra after all, every attempt cost her more chakra then most, and she watched with a smile, it was good to see someone took the time to train as well, and she seemed to take her time as well, though as the loud expressive girl managed to stand on the side of the training dummy Mika gave a little cheer... "Wow Nice wor...".

Before she could even finish her words of praise the girl had slipped right off, landed on her feet and then slipped and fell on her rear end and Mika had to stifle a laugh, it wasn't at the failure, it was at the series of events immediately following it and the look on Komugi's face as she just sat there for a moment before she looked at her, and once Komugi started to laugh Mika couldn't help but break out in giggles as well. sitting there just laughing till eventually she managed to calm down.

"W.. We can both use more training.. but you seem to have a good hang on them, better then I do I am still struggling with the three needed to even graduate, I looked at the ones like that one that are more advanced but I don't think I could learn them any time soon" she said with a smile

"But that's why you're here," Komugi began while climbing out of the puddle. She tried her best to brush some of the mud off her clothes, but only wound up getting her hands all muddy - which she in turn wiped off on her pants. "To train, right? On to the next!"

Komugi placed her hands together and started to form another short set of handseals. She seemed to fumble these ones though, as if forgetting mid-way through what she was trying to do, and for a moment it looked like she might lose her balance and fall over. Catching herself, she lowered her hands and gave a small giggle to hide her rising fatigue.

"You know what? It's your turn, Mika! Why don't you show me something you've been working on? I bet I could give you a few pointers."

Mika nodded a bit to Komugi's statement and she too got up from the stone she was sitting on and smiled as she watched the energetic girl continue on with her training, Komugi was a lot like herself, she didn't stop training just from a setback and it made her smile all the more.

Taking note of the handseals Komugi was using she noticed she was fumbling quite a bit, and then the girl full on stopped and nearly toppled over and Mika nearly ran over to her but Komugi caught herself and Mika let out a sigh and smiled nodding.

"Okay you take a seat and rest a bit then okay?" She asked as she pointed to the rather flat rock she had used as a seat and then moved a bit away to get some room, before she started to make Handseals, going slow as she made the Ram, Snake, and then the tiger handseal, before pumping some Chakra into the Jutsu, and then a puff of smoke went off and small colorless version of Mika was laying there on the ground, with it's arms and legs mismatched and it really looked nothing like Mika at all before it simply puffed away  and Mika giggled a bit embarrassed.

"umm..t..that's as far as I have gotten....." she said looking at the spot the smaller useless clone had appeared.

Komugi crouched beside the rock Mika directed her to and rested her elbows on it, then sat her chin in her palms. She'd likely realize later that it probably made more sense to use it like a chair the way Mika had, but at this point it hardly mattered. "Ooooh~!" she said in anticipation as she recognized the series of handseals, then pumped a soggy gloved fist in the the air. "Yay, Mika - GO GO!"
But when the smoke cleared away, what remained from what had obviously been an attempt at the Clone Technique looked like something from a horror story. Its ghostly appearance and strange limbs sent a visible shiver up Komugi's spine, but she tried her best to laugh it off.

"Nice effort," she said with a thumbs up. "A lot of clones start out that way"

Probably...

"Hey, Mika, do you live nearby?" Komugi asked, hopping to her feet. "I mean, we can stay out here and train more if you want, but..." she trailed off, unable to think of way to suggest going inside without complaining about how tired, wet, and cold she was. Her expression seemed to suggest something was up, though. "Can we go to your place?"

Mika looked at the place her sad excuse of a Clone had been, then over to Komugi and she seen the look on her face before the girl managed to try to laugh it off and give her some encouragement, it was a kind gesture from the energetic girl, and Had Mika really been that hopeless at the Technique she would have found it very comforting, it was at least an indication of how good a person Komugi was, "thanks" she said as she scratched the back of her head at the failure she had made of the Technique, she wasn't expecting it to be quite THAT bad but hey it got the point across.

Then came the question on if she lived nearby and Mika smiled as Komugi was obviously rather a mess at the moment and likely wanted to get inside, not to mention she nearly fell over earlier, "Yeah I live on the edge of the village, I am not sure if your home would be close but if you wanna visit it should be fine" she said with a smile, it was a possibility her family was ready for after all since she was going to be trying to live life here, So mika walked over to Komugi and gently poked his nose.

"boop" she then giggled and started to lead the way, her Time out for training was cut short sure, but hey making a friend was a good thing to happen.

Komugi stiffened up at the comment about her own home, and her gaze slowly drifted sideways. In truth, her house was probably much closer, but she had certain reservations about bringing a friend over unannounced - or at all. It didn't seem like Mika was bothered either way though, and agreed quite easily. Smiling big, Komugi brought her fists up and looked absolutely ready to burst with excitement. After all what could be more exciting than going over to a friends house for the first time? But before she lost control, Komugi received another poke to the nose that seemed to put her in check. Her shoulders relaxed, and she no longer looked like she was about to pop.

"Yay~! Let's go!" she exclaimed, following Mika's lead and draping her arms around the smaller girl like the straps of a backpack.

Mika smiled and laughed as she lead her excitable new friend out of the training grounds, Well this was going to be a rather interesting person to know, though she did notice the way she stiffened up when she suggested her place, she wouldn't push though but maybe she would talk about later when she felt comfortable to do so, but for now having a friend to hang out with was always nice to have for anyone really, and Mika sure wasn't about to say no to a new friend. so the smile on her face was genuine as she walked ahead of Komugi, though she meeped as the energetic girl draped her arms over her shoulders but she didn't stop her or tell her not to she just continued leading the way to her home.

"It's not much we only just got it so I am still decorating my room Haven't really found a look of cool things to decorate with yet since I am still new here and don't know all the shops, but my parents shouldn't mind a guest, they usually worry about me making friends at the Academy, so they will be glad to have you over" she said as she led the way.
