Description: A small village has been growing in the land of Sunlight. It even has it’s own ninja system, and a supposed Kage. Your job is to infiltrate the village, learn as much as possible about the village. Such as how many shinobi they have in their disposal, their high ranking shinobi, and who their Kage is along with whatever information you can glean from your scouting. (You find hidden caves that you enter to discover a power source made solely of chakra powering their city. It will be well guarded with at least 5 Chuunin level guards. Also, the ‘Kage’ has a young son who is around Genin age. He is holed up in his room, grounded. There are two A-rank guards.)

Kosuke had been roused early in the morning, before even the sun had begun its rounds. It was the strangest thing to him, being one who has been growing exponentially, to forget his rank. He was called by an ANBU wearing a Hawk mask, to report to the Chowakage tower for briefing on a mission he would be undertaking by himself. This mission was supposedly top secret and very classified. He snuck out of his house, trying not to wake the sleeping Izuna, and made his way promptly to the tower. Once there, he was ushered into the office of Haruto Yoshida himself. Looking at the man, he was wearing his unique Kage garb as he always did, and had on his glasses with the cross accessories on them. He looked very stern and obviously worn from his extensive terms as the Kage for this village, but back to the matter at hand. He seemed to have both a proud and a pained expression on his aged face, looking like there was something hurting him.

He looked deeply into Kosuke’s eyes, seemingly gazing at his very soul, searching for something. Trying to find the way out, a way to escape what he had to do, but there was nothing. Once he finished staring, he cleared his throat in a very gravelly manner. “Kosuke Uchiha, I have been watching you closely. You have been growing stronger and stronger and have also been holding up not only the ideals of this village, but your own ideals as well. As such, I am offering you an opportunity. This will be the hardest thing you have endured in your lifetime, yet, very few ever get this opportunity. I am asking you to take on a trial that few before you have survived, and even fewer have passed. Do you accept?” He said in a very sorrowful tone.

Kosuke thought over what the man had said, thinking about the recent events of his life and the things he had been through. He decided to accept the man’s offer, “I accept, what is your command Yoshida-sama?” He would say as he kneeled before the man. The man sighed and pulled out a file, it held a few pictures and he motioned Kosuke to look through them. The first, showed a large wall built into the side of a mountain, it seemed to be a newly formed structure as there were still men working on it. The second picture, was of a large blue beam, almost like a beacon coming from behind a now completed wall. And the third, final picture, was of a man addressing a small army from atop the wall. “We have received reports from our spies about a new shinobi village rising up in our lands. We have sent numerous messages to them t cease their activities, but have received no reply, or have received our messenger’s head back. You are to go in and find as much information on this village as you can, and then to wipe it from the map. Spare no one, man, woman, elder, or child. Leave none alive, and burn it to the ground. This is an order.” Lord Yoshida would say in a stern voice, leaving no room for argument.

Kosuke looked both shocked and slightly appalled at the task that has been set before him, but knew he had signed on for it and would be going through with his task, so dismissing himself, he made his way towards this new village. On his way, he began to think of the method he would use to infiltrate this place. It seemed as though they had a wall surrounding it and were rather tight on security, so he would need some way to get in, and not be seen. He decided he would just kill the guards, it wouldn’t hurt much as they had probably grown lax in the time they merely received messages. So, with the walls in sight, he henged himself into an average looking merchant. With all ragged brown clothes and a lazy eye he approached the gate to attempt to gain entrance.

There seemed to be two, low level guards standing at the gateway. Deciding on a course of action, he would das straight for them, killing them both with a punch hard enough to break their necks. Once inside and the bodies hid, he would make his way quickly around the village, finding as much information as he could. The tower seemed to be located on top of a small mountain and was a long climb of stairs away, then there was an obvious training facility at the base of the mountain. And upon further inspection, there seemed to be a small factory of some sort filling different things into and out of the mountainside.

Once he made it over to the other side of the mountain, he found a cave. Deciding to go in, Kosuke discovered that there was a large concentration of chakra in the center of these caves. Following the source, he quickly hid as he saw a massive energy beacon of some sort, surrounded by five guards. Based on their chakra levels, they were at least Chuunin level and would not pose too much of a threat to Kosuke, but just in case, he decided to end them quickly. Stealthily making his way behind the one on the farthest end, he grabbed them over their mouth and snapped their neck, gently laying them down.

Then, silently as before, he ran at the next, stabbing him straight through his voice box, ending a guttural scream. This alerted the remaining three guards as one formed seals Kosuke recognized all too well and he grinned. Holding still for a moment, he gathered natural energy. As he charged the energy, the room was filled with a thick white mist. Moving quickly once entering Sage Mode, he ran at the first, who was obviously hunting him. Killing the man in the most painful way possible, causing him to howl out in the most gruesome scream of pain, he was sure to play with the remaining guard’s mental state.

Heading for the next guard, he snapped his neck sending a resounding, “N-NO! PLEA-CRACK!” resounding through the mist. The final guard had exited the mist and was trying to run up one of the corridors, when suddenly he glance back and saw part of the mist break apart but couldn’t see anything exit it. Looking back forward, he ran straight into Kosuke’s blade, dying instantly by his own hand. Allowing the body to slide from his arm blade, Kosuke made his way up the winding passageway, until he came out into the fresh air again.

Looking around to find his bearings, he found that he was near to the tower, deciding to draw close and feel out his enemy before entering, he made his way towards the far wall. Once there, he extended his senses and felt that there were five floors, each with at least three members, all around the same strength level, getting stronger as you get higher. At the top of the tower it seemed, there was a boy, around Genin age, crying and sad. He must be in trouble, after having felt the Kage’s chakra, Kosuke determined that this was his son or his little brother, and as such made a mental note of this to use later on. Having finished gathering his data, he was going to return to the cave to think up his next plan of action, when he was suddenly assaulted by two shinobi.

The two of them seemed to be A-rank as they each sent flaming dragons at him. He barely had the time to erect a crystal wall and then send crystalized shuriken barreling at them. Once feeling one of their chakra signatures vanish, he then went into action. Destroying his wall, he dashed forwards to meet his would be killer on a clash of blades. Using his superior strength, he was able to cut through his enemy’s blade. Using the momentary distraction, he planted a kunai in the man’s temple and ripped it out of the front of his head, splattering the ground with blood. Once these things finished, he returned to the cave to think of what to do next as his Sage Mode ran out and the pigment around his eyes vanished.

He had learned a lot by going to the tower, mostly that the leader only lived there, he did most of his work at the office building at the base of the mountain. But, the man’s son was there and this could be used to weaken the man. So, deciding to kidnap and then kill the child in order to emotionally hurt the man, and get him mentally out of the fight, Kosuke made his decision. He would enter in from the bottom of the tower and kill all of its occupants. Once this was completed, he would kill the boy and hang him in front of the Kage’s office in order to really affect him on a personal level. Making his decision, Kosuke began his operation to capture and then kill the child. Throwing on his hood, he appeared to be the very visage of death, bringing fear to all who might gaze upon him.

Description: Once you find the necessary things in your scouting, you can now return to where you saw the ‘Kage’s’ son. Your new goal is to make your way into the tower and kidnap the boy. The tower has 5 floors, he is on the top floor. The key is on the third floor. There are no windows. Each floor is home to three of each rank of shinobi. You must kill all of them. Once you complete the kidnapping you are to kill the child and leave him on the doorstep of the ‘Kage’ tower to hurt the kage emotionally and mentally handicap him.

Kosuke had learned a lot by going to the tower, mostly that the leader only lived there, he did most of his work at the office building at the base of the mountain.

Deciding to scope the tower out more thoroughly now that the two guards were taken out, he could see that there were no windows, and only one entrance and exit. Deciding that this left only one course of action , he decided to go in and slaughter everyone inside as quickly as possible, since he would have to kill them all eventually anyways. Though, what he saw when he entered definitely made him question that decision. He came face to face with three young Genin. He saw how afraid they were and decided that he needed to do this quickly and painlessly, as they were mere children. He understood that they hadn’t been given much of a choice in where they were born or grew up, so he would offer them the kindness of a swift, painless death. It was sad, stealing away a life that had yet to see its full potential, but, C’est la Vie.

Speeding through and stabbing all three in their temples cleanly and efficiently. They were dead before they could have processed the fact he moved. He knew that he owed them as much. Knowing how it felt to be a scared defenseless child, staring into the eyes of the Shinigami himself. Thinking back to his childhood and his father’s harsh training regime. He shook his head, trying to remain focused on the task at hand as he found a stairwell leading up. Opening the door and climbing the flight of stairs, he focused and could feel at least three chuunin level chakra reserves on this floor. Feeling the same guilt he had before, decided to save them from the fear the Genin had felt.

Forming a few hand seals, he allowed a thick mist to envelop the area. It seemed to go under the door jam and fill the adjacent room as well. Knowing that they were becoming confused he opened the door and burst into the room. Moving swiftly he killed the closest with a kunai in his jugular. The second was put down with a punch hard enough to cave in his skull. And the final had his neck snapped so hard and fast, it turned his head a full 180 degrees. Knowing that they had all died instantly made him feel slightly less guilty about the gruesome ways they had perished, but he knew that their brief faces would haunt him for the rest of his days. Finally making his way to the next flight of stairs, he could sense three again, except these were much closer to his level than the others had been. Most likely Tokubetsu level ninjas.

He had been stealthy and had yet to arouse any suspicion from the upper floors, though this time he noticed that from his sensory skills, these were in a very relaxed state, not moving around and working like the previous two had been doing. So, using his memory and the aspect of surprise, he henged into one of the Chuunin he managed to kill the floor below and waltzed through the door. One of the Special Jounin glanced from their game of go and said, “Jiroh? What are you doing out of your sector?” Kosuke thinking quickly replied, “I think there has been some kind of leak in the stairwell, I was just wondering if you had the same problem on this level.” He knew it wasn’t a very convincing lie, but it would have to suffice none the less. “A leak? What the hell are you talking about?!” he asked in an annoyed tone. This had been enough to draw the other two from the game of go and they were now standing in front of him. Well, no better time than the present. He quickly noticed that one of them, the middle one had a key hung on a thick chain around his neck, using this to his advantage Kosuke dropped the henge and acted fast. Stabbing the two flanking the middle one in their throats with a pair of kunai, Kosuke spun around the one in the middle and yanked back on the chain hard, decapitating him. Deciding the key must be of importance, he stored it away with his dimension holder jutsu. Making his way to the next set of stairs, he knew this next fight would be much harder.

Opening the next door and springing into quick action, he took out one of the Jounin level shinobi on this floor, stabbing him through his neck with his own katana. Then, using a quick kawarimi, Kosuke dodged a “dragon flames song” technique. Using his elemental advantage, he formed seals and created five water bullets that shot straight through the fire dragon, knocking the user back some from the pressure. He then dashed over and punched one of them hard in the chest while throwing some shuriken at the stunned one. Managing to take out the guy’s arm, he focused more on the one nearest to him. Extending his arm blade, he sliced down the ninja’s chest and managed to puncture his left lung. This might not kill him instantly, but he would die soon enough, and he was out of the fight now. Throwing him back, Kosuke faced his final Jounin opponent.

Dashing forwards, blade pulled back ready for a strike, Kosuke immediately had to dodge a small group of tiny fireballs. Just missing them, he activated his Sharingan for the first time, causing his opponent to freeze. This momentary shock was all Kosuke needed to rip the man’s heart out of his chest and crush it in his fist. Turning to head to the stairs, he barely managed to dodge a kunai aimed at his head. Quickly turning, he saw the other Jounin standing weakly with a hand over his wound glowing brightly with green chakra. It seemed Kosuke had for whatever reason neglected the possibility that the man could be a medic, he should have killed him immediately. But, now he had to pay for this mistake. Performing the ram seal, Kosuke vanished and reappeared behind the man with his blade sticking through the ninja’s chest. Then in one swift motion, he pulled it out horizontally slicing the man through the ribs and out the side. Watching the life leave the man’s eyes reminded Kosuke of the night he finally killed his father.

In front of him, in the center of the training field hidden below the shrine, he saw his parents. Only his father was standing before a crucifix that held his mother. She was littered with cuts and covered with blood. He could hear his father say, “You don’t need to see him, he is above you. You are a worthless bitch and you don’t deserve to see MY son! This constant rebellion in intolerable. I will kill you myself now for your insolence.” Kosuke’s eyes widened, his world slowed to a stop. He saw his mother gaze upon him one final time, tears of blood trickling down her cheeks, a sad smile on her beautiful face. Her eyes conveyed nothing but pure love, but before he could rush to save her, he saw his father swing a blade and behead her. And then, the cross was set alight, her screams of agony saturating the air with a melody of anguish and despair.

At this moment, Kosuke’s fully matured Sharingan glowed brightly. Its three tomoe converging in the center, drawing a black blanket across the iris. At the center of his eye, his pupil emanated a pulse which formed a red ring around it, and an eight pointed star formed. Inside of this star was a shuriken shape with its points going up, down, left and right. It seemed as though his father had taken note of his witness, and was charging at him, his red eyes blazing. Kosuke saw nothing but pure hatred, though his face had shifted into the most frightening neutral look, anyone has ever seen. It seemed as though his father, and everyone else was so far beneath his concern, you might liken them to ants. Though, inside of Kosuke’s mind this was not the case. In his own mind, Kosuke thought that the fires of hell were too good for the man rushing at him, in an obvious attempt to end his life. This was pure folly though, as Kosuke merely glanced at him, and the man’s blade phased straight through Kosuke. His father’s eyes widening in shock, Kosuke rematerialized and punched the man in the face.

Flying backwards through a wall into an adjacent room, the man had only a moment to think before he saw a distortion in space time and Kosuke appeared with his blade fully extended. Stabbing it straight through the man’s throat, he stared emotionlessly into the bastard’s eyes. Observing the pure shock and then seeing this become pride. Kosuke’s eyes widened at this, and his neutral façade evolved into the pure, raging fire of hatred that had boiled over in his heart. The man seemed to be attempting to talk, as he gurgled and choked on his own blood. Kosuke merely looked him dead in the eye and whispered, “Enjoy your time in hell, when I get there and see you again, you will find out what comes after the Afterlife.” At this, he yanked his blade out of his father’s neck, killing him by choking on his own blood.

This memory brought tears to his eyes as he fought the urge to weep openly at the memory of his parents. Though, he suddenly shook the thoughts from his head and his face took on an aloof visage of someone who had sealed away their emotions. He needed to focus here and couldn’t allow his past actions to kill him here, he had things to do in this life still. So, shaking away the tears, he made his way up the final flight of stairs. Upon reaching the doors, he felt a large Chakra, one that could almost rival a Kage. Deciding he needed to use his full might here, he charged up sage chakra. Feeling the peaceful, but massive power surge through him, he smashed the door down and charged into the room meeting the occupant head on. The opponent catching his senjutsu enhanced punch with effort actually holding him back. Deciding that this fight was going to be much harder, Kosuke backed away.

He knew that in sage mode, his speed was that of Kage level and he was able to use much stronger jutsu. Deciding to use his speed to the advantage, he dashed forwards, knowing his opponent could still see him, but wasn’t physically fast enough to act on his actions, he sliced the man down his back, severing some nerves on his spinal column. Once he did this, he cut the man’s head off to end his struggle. Life had been cruel to these people, allowing them to gain the power and then letting the life be taken from them. He wondered briefly what life had in store for him, it must be grand, as he had yet to die. Looking around he sensed the Kage’s son locked behind a door. Summoning the key from the other dimension, he unlocked it and knocked the child out before he could utter a sound. Then, deciding to destroy the tower, he created twin crystal dragons that ravaged the building as Kosuke killed the child in a very gruesome way, he actually vomited at his own actions, before taking the beaten and bloody visage of the leader’s son to lay on their doorstep. He then sent one of his massive dragons careening through the side of the building, Knowing this would draw the Kage out to see his son lying dead on the front stairs of the building.

Description: After infiltrating the village and emotionally handicapping their leader, it is time to end this village. You will have to Kill the ‘kage’ and then destroy the village, leaving NO SURVIVORS. This includes the civilians of the village, leave nothing standing. This can be done in many ways, from one of your own techniques, to blowing up their power source discovered in the earlier mission. Once this mission is complete return to the Kage tower in your village.

Kaizato Kamijiro was having a rather average day. He woke up early and started with his daily training and warmups. Once completed, he went to his office and began his duties as the Anoyokage (Shadow of the Other World). He simply couldn’t believe that the village had been completed, it had been a few years working, keeping hidden from the other major villages was the hardest part, though they had succeeded. He gazed proudly out towards his village, admiring the years of work he had put into it. He had been born poor, always fighting for his next meal and scavenging through other people’s trash. Though, at a young age, after being trained in the shinobi arts, he had decided to build his own village to compete against the monopoly and power that the Three Great Villages hoarded. While at first his dream seemed foolish, he began to find those that agreed with him, and pledged themselves to his cause. He only wanted to work for the people, not for the Daimyo, and as such, he couldn’t let the other villages know what ha had planned.

For five long, difficult years, he had his top engineers and scientists and contractors building this village. Though it had taken them so long, they had made a breakthrough with sealing and machinery. Using seals and a transformer, they were able to transform raw chakra into energy to power the entire village, and as such, had an unlimited supply of power fueling them. Something they knew the other villages would want for themselves. Though, now looking over his beautiful creation, it seemed ages ago that it was only a thought. Smiling he glanced at the tower on the hillside. His home, where he had his son guarded by his top shinobi of each rank, knowing they could handle anything. He sighed, when would that boy learn to stop being so spoiled and entitled. He had thought his father owed him a promotion to the rank of Chuunin, for his insubordination, he was grounded and put into solitary confinement.

Though his eyes widened when suddenly the tower exploded from the top floor, revealing two massive serpentine crystal dragons bringing the tower collapsing to the ground. He could see something jumping down from the tower and landing in front of his office building, and then he observed numbly as the figure butchered his son and laid him on the door step of the building. Watching he figure point at the tower his shock turned into white hit rage as he was barely able to dodge as one of the dragons slammed into the side of his building, destroying the top three floors. He landed in front of the intruder, seemingly a boy who had the markings of a sage. With the two dragons looming over behind him, the boy appeared to be quite fearsome.  Regardless of this, he stood before the bastard his eyes burning with parental fury.

Kosuke looked over at the man across from him, his sage mode flaring back to life. It seemed the man was beyond furious, but this was to be expected, Kosuke had killed the man’s only son and as such deserved Divine Judgment. “Who are you?! What is your purpose here you bastard?!” The man shouted with hate so blatant it was almost visible in the air. Kosuke replied with a calm and cool attitude that only served to anger the man more, “I am here to wipe your village from existence. Today is your last day, prepare to see your son in the afterlife.” He said in an apathetic tone. The man’s eyes widened and he seemed to want to reason with Kosuke, pushing his concern for the thousands in the village above the hate for his son’s murderer for only a moment.
“We have done nothing to you or your village, we are the good in this world! Here to stop the bad from destroying and oppressing us all!” The man said in a very idealistic way. Kosuke scoffed at the very ideal. “You think life is that simple? This world keeps itself balanced, it doesn’t need you to tell it how to function. You speak of good and bad as though they are opposites. Bad is not the opposite of Good, merely the absence of it. What is Evil without Good? What is death without life? You need to realize that true balance isn’t perfect, the true balance of Yin and Yang, Creation and Destruction is only Chaos. This is what I will give to the world. Chaos. Your death will not be in vain, I will bring your dream of balance to reality, only, I will do it and bring true balance to the world.” Kosuke said in an absolute manner, his Sharingan blazing to life, being powered up by his sage mode.  The man looked absolutely shocked at what Kosuke had said to him, and then, overcome by anger, attacked full force.

The Kage formed the snake seal and opened his mouth to fire off a spear of condensed lightning chakra. Kosuke had already began to react before the seal had been completed and a Crystal wall rose in front of him, taking up most of the blast, but it was starting to crack. Kosuke using his full speed managed to bolt to the side of the wall, dodging the spear and then extended his blade, rushing at the vengeful father. This moment again, brought about thoughts of his own father, the training session they had not two months before he had killed him. The fight had been the hardest in Kosuke’s life and he had used that experience to grow so much stronger than he had been in the past.

Thinking of that, he remembered it like it happened yesterday, “Looking around he was still in the training ground, but he suddenly jumped back as he was barely able to avoid a slice from a rather familiar scythe. His eyes narrowed as he glanced over and saw a being from his nightmares, it made his right arm throb with imaginary pain. Standing where his father had been only moments before was none other than, Rei Balor. Hatred began to swim in his vision, wanting nothing more than to get vengeance over the loss of his arm, he had to calm himself down, and anger would only get him wounded or killed. Thinking of how fast she was only made him more nervous, his speed had improved since the exams, but surely hers had as well. He could barely keep track of her movements as he barely evaded swipe after strike from that blasted scythe.

As he continued to dodge, he noted that she was not moving the same way she had during the exams. In the exams, she had moved with grace befitting a woman, and a skill that showed mastery over her weapon of choice. While now she was moving much more power oriented and with steps more befitting a skilled swordsman. He then saw a swipe coming hard and fast he couldn’t do anything to block it, when suddenly t slowed down significantly. He could track it much easier and suddenly the world shattered and he saw his father swinging a sword at him instead of a scythe. Raising his own blade to parry, then kicking off of his father’s blade and jumping back far enough to gain an advantage.

Focusing his chakra he withdrew his blade and ran through hand seals at a rapid pace. His father rushing towards him, unaware at the technique being used. Kosuke then spat out five small water bullets heading at high speed towards his father, and the most likely directions he was to dodge in.  The bullets grew closer and closer to his father before suddenly he blurred out of existence, Kosuke could barely see him as he reappeared several meters away. It seemed he had used a technique that didn’t require seals to speed himself up drastically or to switch places with something. Either way he had dodged Kosuke’s attack and was now resuming his charge. Kosuke knew he had to catch the man off guard, so he formed two clones and they all three charged the man.

The first clone sent shuriken and kunai at him as a means of distraction while the second clone sent some more water bullets. Suddenly crystals sprouted up around Kosuke’s father from the ground. If he attempted to dodge, he would be impaled, so wisely he didn’t and was captured. Before he could think of his next plan of action, he glanced around and noticed he was surrounded by three very large crystal dragons.
” That is when Kosuke’s Sharingan eyes widened and he barely dodged a kunai to the heart. Back pedaling, He was able to get a few meters away from the man.

Forming a familiar cross symbol, Three clones appeared beside and one behind Kosuke. All three of the new arrivals performed the same set of seals and three crystal dragons rose to float with Kosuke’s two that were already floating. The man must have realized that the threat was much larger now, he decided to summon some large Chimera like creature. It had the head of a tiger, with the body and legs of a horse, with wings like a bat and a very black reptilian tail, the beast roared mightily. Knowing that he needed to end this quickly, Kosuke sent his dragons to entangle the beast, while the three clones’ dragons attempted to subdue the man on top of it.

The first dragon swooping straight down at the man was shattered by a lightning bolt emanating from the man’s right hand.  Its millions of tiny shards morphing into thousands of foot long needles raining down over the man’s head. Though this was foiled as he used the “Lightning Release: Lightning Strike” and destroyed all of the crystal needles with a huge bolt of energy. Kosuke knew this man was powerful and needed to use all of his power to defeat him, though he wanted to avoid using his Mangekyou as he had read on the tablet, overusing it would cause him to go blind. He needed his sight more than he needed a quick fight. So, using the distraction of multiple dragons and Kosuclone’s attacking him and his summon, Kosuke blitzed the Kage with all of his might.

His arm blade fully extended, he appeared via Body Flicker right beside the man, severing his left arm and then pushing him off of the summon. With its summoner gone, the beast took to the skies in an attempt to destroy the remaining four dragons and two clones that were attempting to defeat it. The beasts and their battles already having destroyed half of the village. Glancing around, Kaizato saw that his dream laid in shambles all around him. Looking over at the calm, unimpressed façade of the teen standing before him, he screamed in both agony and rage, holding out his remaining right hand and firing a beast running technique at Kosuke. Not having the time to dodge or do anything to defend himself, Kosuke’s eyes morphed into their Mangekyou form. Saying, “Kamui!” to himself, Kosuke saw the beast phase straight through him.

Kaizato’s eyes widened in shock, his attack phased straight through the teen in front of him. It was as though the boy was not even there, he was a ghost, a phantom. Suddenly, he heard a battle cry from around him and saw the remaining army of his rushing at the intruder. Though this was all for naught as the intruder was a phantom. Watching as the countless Genin and Chuunin lost their lives to the crystal spears that were plunged through their backs and sides as their attacks phased through the monster in front of them. He wanted nothing more than to awaken from his nightmare as he watched the remains of his army slaughtered by one shinobi.

Kosuke was very surprised when the whole army of this village seemed to materialize and attack him. Though they all seemed to be around Chuunin or High Genin level, Kosuke ended them all efficiently using his crystal needle jutsu. Though, he was glad that his Kamui could last as long as he needed it to for this, he might have died many times had he not had it active. Though he could feel his chakra starting to run low as he killed the final soldier attempting to guard their home, and their leader. He could see himself in their positions, laying his life down for those he loved. And because of this, he would always remember the lives lost this day, never forgotten. Looking at the Kage, he saw that he was about to bleed out. Kosuke noticed he had a tear of blood streaming from his right eye, this was due to his usage of the Kamui for the time it took. He deactivated his Sharingan, his cold onyx eyes staring into the cool green of Kaizato’s orbs.

“I will bring this world to balance, I will show them all that though we have no war, we are not at peace, and though we fight and murder and steal, we are not at war. We are balanced. This world has grown complacent and has begun to believe there is good and bad, peace and war, life and death. I will change this, I will bring about, Revolution” After he finished talking, Kosuke plunged his sword into the Kage’s head, killing him instantly.  Sighing, Kosuke knew there was only one thing left to do. He needed to get away and leave a clone to destroy that power source. So, creating a clone, he took off towards Chōwagakure, and the clone headed towards the power core.

The clone made it into the labyrinth of caves and finally found the one that led into the power core area. Once inside, he started to think of how to blow the power core up, this was not going to be a simple task and he was low on chakra and heavily fatigued from his usage of both Sage Mode and the Mangekyou Sharingan.  He found a restrictor that was set to 40%. It seemed to be regulating the flow into the orb of concentrated chakra, and on the other side of the orb, leading upwards was a valve that seemed to control the power that was sent to the village above him. It was set to 70%, so the clone cut this one off completely while opening the other one entirely. This caused the orb to get too much charka compressed into it. It began to turn white before it became grey and finally a black, almost purple color. It expanded to ten times its size, destroying part of the floor and the ceiling before shrinking to the size of a basketball. Once that happened it exploded violently. The entire village and forest within a 10 mile radius was wiped from the earth, leaving a 10 mile in diameter crater.

Kosuke stiffened ant turned as he felt the rush of memories come back from his clone, he was halfway back to the village. Turning, he saw the sky above him darken as he saw a bright white flash on the horizon and then heard the most thunderous sound he has ever heard. A few seconds later, a rush of hot air passed by him, seemingly from the explosion. Deciding that he was needed in the village now, he returned to Chōwagakure and made his way straight to the Kage tower and directly into the office of Lord Yoshida.

Name: ANBU TEST IV
Location: Kage Tower
Rank: S (500 WC Required)
Team: NONE (regardless of rank)
Client: Haruto Yoshida
Rewards: ANBU RANK
Description: Upon returning to the village, your Kage transports you to an underground facility using an unknown jutsu. Upon arrival you will be told to kneel and reveal your dominant shoulder. After which you will be branded with the ANBU tattoo. This is done by your Kage speeding through an almost innumerable number of Handseals before placing his right hand on your shoulder. This procedure is one of intense pain and those with a durability of less than 60 will pass out from the sheer amount of pain from the application of the seal. Once completed you will be eligible to claim a mask. It must be registered, it will be registered in the item section under a different template, and it cannot be registered already. (It has no abilities, other than to cover the users eyes and mask their identity.)

Kneeling on front of the Chowakage, Kosuke gave his report on the village. Not leaving out any detail on what he had done, what he heard people say or what he saw. Telling of how he performed only reminded Kosuke of the countless souls he had taken that day, this only strengthened his resolve. The old Kage looked at Kosuke with an unreadable expression before he finally spoke. “I am sorry that you had to undergo such a mission at such a young age, but I am proud to say you have completed it and went above and beyond my expectations. As such, for your performance in the line of duty, I am promoting you into the ranks of ANBU, should you accept, you will have a position that is coveted by many of the higher ranked members of the village and is very closely guarded and secret. You know that once you accept, you will not be allowed to reveal your code name to any in the village, it will be your most closely guarded secret, under punishment of death. Do you accept?” Kosuke seemed to be at a loss for words, not knowing what to think or say back to the leader of the village. Before finally nodding and saying, “I accept Lord Yoshida. I am honored to be in your service.”

The aged man smiled before placing a mask on the desk in front of him. It was mostly white but had red markings under the eye holes on the cheeks reminiscent of some mist or cloud. Lord Yoshida then stood and walked around the desk to stand next to the kneeling Kosuke. He nodded and ran through Handseals so fast Kosuke couldn’t keep up with them. He then placed his palm on Kosuke’s left shoulder and said, “On this day, Kosuke Uchiha is no more. When that mask is donned, there is only the ANBU, There is only PHANTOM.” At this, he channeled chakra into the seal that had formed and this caused Kosuke to cry out in pain, once he finished receiving the mark, he passed out from the sheer pain it caused.

Lord Yoshida had his Mask sealed into a blood scroll and sent back to his house with him. Once Kosuke awoke, he would make sure he was alone before opening the scroll and looking at his mask. It held no soul, the one behind it didn’t care who they killed or erased, as long as it was in the protection of the village. He sealed the mask into his pocket dimension and then decided that it was time that he got some well-deserved rest. Laying back in his bed, he allowed himself to fall asleep, letting sweet unconsciousness take hold of him. His rest that night and the nights following it were fitful to say the least. Reliving the many murders he committed over and over again until he developed a numbness to the screams of torment and the visage of life leaving the eyes of his victims. It was this mission, this promotion, which would change Kosuke’s life forever.
