World History v.2

A thousand years ago, the world was plagued with chaos and war. Countless clans battled over land or political power. It wasn’t until the appearance of a monster that caused natural disasters just by appearing on the battlefield, killing thousands with a swing of a single of its massive tails. This creature became known as the Ten-Tails, a living natural disaster and a walking weapon of mass destruction. The various clans of the land battled it with all their might until they got to the point where their only goal was survival. They had lost so many to not only the beast but to their unending battles amongst the other clans in the lands. Finally, their salvation appeared in a single sage who had the legendary Rinnegan. He would become known by many names, The Sage of Six Paths, the Father of Ninshu, the Wandering Sage, the Savior of this World.

The Great Sage used his incredible power to subdue the beast finally after a battle that lasted days if not weeks. When he finally defeated it, he sealed its chakra and consciousness within himself and destroyed the husk of its body that was left over. The power released when he sealed the beast away sent a shockwave out that covered the entire world, granting every person alive chakra and changing their bodies to where chakra became a natural part of them. He realized he would need to train the people in how to use this power so that they wouldn’t destroy themselves trying to use a power that they weren’t able to handle. He also felt that this power would be a way to bring the people together and so they wouldn’t be fighting wars, but working together to make a better world for the next generations.

This plan worked well for several years, the Great Sage even had three children, Indra, Ashura and Reigetsu. These children would grow with a great unique control over chakra and their bodies were different from most of the other humans in that unique powers linked to the Great Sage manifested within them. Indra inherited the eyes of his father, the Sharingan. Ashura inherited the chakra of his father, and Reigetsu inherited the eyes of their grandmother, the Byakugan. As they grew, they quickly got an advanced grasp on the use of chakra and eventually Indra learned how to control it even more adeptly through the use of hand signs that focused chakra into elements or other shapes and natures. Over time, the Great Sage realized he was going to die soon, so he would need to entrust someone with the power of the Ten-Tails to keep its body from being reformed.

By the time he had prepared himself for the ceremony, his three children had already gone off and started their own lives, gathering followers and learning new ways to use Ninshu that they had discovered on their own. Realizing that he didn’t want to force any of his children to carry the burden of keeping the Ten-Tails suppressed for the remainder of their lives, he decided to split it up into nine separate tailed beasts. He then set these unique creatures loose in the world and gave them each a secluded place to call their own that was far from any civilization. At least, that is how it was intended. Once the sage passed on to the next world and his children had passed on as well, their children had already founded three new clans and had even found other clans that shared their ideologies that would eventually lead to the creation of three of the five great villages.
