After slashing into the ground below, the user of this technique prompts their opponent(s) to engage them by committing to the offensive. At the instant the samurai wills it, the ground beneath them in a large area will collapse with walls raising up around their vicinity before slamming back down like a wave of crushing and imprisoning earth. The earth expands around the target before contracting quickly, sending rocks and earth into the middle before collapsing. This is a 10m radius centered on the samurai.
