Personality: Akira is a team player when he needs to be, but he also has no problems with flying solo. He finds that sometimes he is able to do things faster without having to rely on any allies. When put into a leadership position he always tries to do what is best for his subordinates, taking care of them as best he can. Akira likes to engage in close-quarters combat. If he faces a stronger opponent, he usually tries to take it seriously and focus on getting through the fight. When facing an opponent of equal strength, he often tries to enjoy the battle, even if it is one among enemies, he will relish in the challenge. He dislikes fighting those weaker than himself, for the sole reason that he dislikes those who take advantage of their power over others. If he is to fight a friend, whether it is to the death or just a friendly spar, his attitude towards the fight depends on not only the situation, but the friend whom he is battling.

Character History: Born to two ninja parents who weren't particularly careful one night, Akira's life began in a way that a surprising amount of young children's lives start out in ninja villages. He was sent from home to home, when he escaped the home to go do training as it was in his blood, he would end up thrown back into one of the orphanages. He was thrown into an orphanage first at the age of five, he escaped the same day and it took them several days to find him and when they did, he was passed out from having trained for the entire time straight.

At the age of seven, he was allowed to enter the ninja academy where he was told he would be able to get all the training his heart could desire. Which was only half true. He wasn't interested in the history of the world or the specifics of politics. He learned enough to scrape by, sure, but he wasn't interested in things he couldn't hit. He also did decent at shurikenjutsu, just enough to pass as he didn't like how indirect it felt at times. That is until, the ninjutsu portion. With that, he excelled. He was top of his class in ninjutsu, taijutsu and all other forms of the martial arts. When he was in the academy, he was allowed to go to the Chunin exams to see how real ninja fight. It was here that he learned just what it meant to be a ninja and just what he wanted his future to be like.
