Appearance: A tall, lanky fellow for 13; Bunko has the longer limbs associated with his height. This lankiness as well as his habit of keeping his hair grown past his eyes has made him a rather noticeable individual. Or, unnoticeable anywhere outside of academy classrooms.

He often has a slouch when he sits; which along side his rathe casual clothing gives off a strange feeling.  Now; his eyes constantly being hidden doesn't help this. Bunko always has a smile on his face as well; for reasons only known to him. All of this combines for a lank kid who smiles a lot and looks off in the distance perpetually.

Bunko is a child who listens to his father dutifully. This has led to some...rather strange situations when it comes to his personality. His constant smiling is from an experiment that his Father is running with him; which is really what half of his personality is. Just experiments to see how people react and how he can do with a specific set of parameters. At the moment, the smiling is the big thing. Also the hair thing; where not seeing the eyes and only seeing a smile can unnerve people. It'd be unbecoming for a higher ranked ninja to do it; but an academy student turning genin can do it just fine!

Other than the few experiments his father is running, Bunko's a mostly nice kid. He'll say hello, have a nice chat and go about training. He's not nearly as particular as his outward actions would suggest.  If anything; he's a steadfast child who refuses to give up on things when they seem pointless.

That is to say, he thinks his Father's experiments are pointless. But! It's what his Father wants; so he'll do as a proper son should and listen.


Character History: Born to two jounin ninja, Bunko is strangely...untalented? when it comes to most ninja things. Compared to most children of two skilled jounin, at least.

His Father had trained him from about six, hoping to prove that Bunko was some fashion of prodigy. Nothing of the sort. If anything, Bunko is somewhat average when it comes to skill. Despite this; his father waited until he was 12 to send him to the academy. Which means he's not exactly behind on things; but is likely known as a kid who got in with his Father's influence.

It doesn't actually bother the child; as he feels the same well. It's less that he's insecure. Just more that he got to exactly where he is because of his father. Bunko got to skip quite a few classes because of his Father. This was mostly just the basic stuff that Bunko was already taught. Still though, seeing a tall lanky kid come to the advanced courses without having to do the basics has turned some people off from socializing with him.

He's not ostracized though. He has his group of friends. He's even happy with said friends; though recognizes that once they become ninja they'll likely become less friendly unless they get grouped together.
