Appearance: Hiei has fair, olive skin and dark grey eyes. On the top of his head rests messy, light grey hair which is long enough to cover his eyes if he doesn't maintain it to some degree. He has no visible piercings, tattoos, or scars on the entirety of his body. He has a slim build and due to his baggy attire one could never really tell if he were muscular or not.

Unlike the natural garbs worn within Sunagakure, Hiei's attire consists of more gothic looking apparel. His lower body is comprised of black sandals on his feet; both light and comfortable to walk/run along on the sand with ease. He wears slightly baggy black slacks held together by a black belt. On either side of his waist he has small bags that contain a multitude of ninja tools for use and easy access. On his torso he wears a black jacket, usually zipped up, with 2 buckles on both shoulders used to loosen or tighten the jacket on his body should he release or pull the straps. The zipper itself is both detachable and was made specifically as a ninja tool itself both in design and material. Attached to the back of the jacket is a large black hood that Hiei wears a good 70% of the time.

Personality: Despite his aloof and dark demeanor, Hiei is a very kind child. He has no issues with interacting with others when he has to do so and is more than willing to help others if asked to do so or if he feels help is needed. Hiei enjoys relaxing in shady areas and watching clouds go by or both reading and writing to pass the time. He dislikes putting forth effort when he doesn't have to and has a deep disdain for anyone who causes harm to animals. In terms of combat, Hiei is a bit of a tactical fighter. He prefers to use his surroundings and anything that resides within to his advantage; strategizing while on the move. He is proficient in both close and mid-ranged combat but is at a severe disadvantage when it comes to long ranged combat.
Character History: Hiei Jishaku had shown signs of independence early on as a child. Upon learning how to read and write, the young shinobi would usually keep to himself with his studies unless told to work with others. Most of the other children around his age in Suna perceived him as creepy or awkward based on the fact that instead of playing with them, he'd be mostly reading or lounging in shady or dark areas. However, when it came to sparring or doing physical team exercises Hiei would show decent prowess.

He showed to possess pretty decent skill in taijutsu, but preferred to use his surroundings to his disposal instead of actually fighting during combat training. He'd usually go about finding ways to set minor traps or trip-ups in order to gain the advantage over his fellow classmates before delivering the deciding blow. His win/loss ratio in combat training wasn't good or bad to say the least, but Hiei's teachers all came to agree that he had no true want or need to harm anyone unless he needed to do so.

As he got older, Hiei was given his current attire as well as a mysterious metal ball with strange markings on it. His parents informed him that this specific ball would play a roll in his training and would possibly help him in unlocking and mastering their clan's rare Kekkei Genkai. Hiei kept this in mind as he kept to his studies in order to pass at the Academy. He continued to grow in his skills in taijutsu and showed greater prowess in being more of a tactical fighter.
