The Incident(Plot/Private)

Shou had been through all the daily tests; in which there was no improvements but also no degradation. Thus, Shou was forced to stay here longer. Were there proper degradation, instead of just the injury staying the same, Shou would be able to retire and just be failed prospect. Yet; The Nara Clan wouldn't give up hope, which makes sense. Even Shou knew that he was a talent, and even if he was calm and collected, he still wanted to be a Shinobi.

Shou would take a look into his mirror, seeing his drab old hospital clothes; and would make sure to brush his hair down. After all; he didn't feel much like a Nara lately. Nara usually can do something with Chakra, and while Shou didn't have a lack of it...his pathways were an absolute mess from his injury.

It was a slow walk over to Shou's bed; after all it was around 9 P.M. There was no reason to have a bad sleeping schedule when you had most of the events in your day to day life planned out for you. After all, there was just constant tests that just wouldn't stop being done. Shou appreciated that they wanted to make sure that he was healthy, but it wasn't something that he wanted to do the rest of his life.

Due to the Nara's influence within the village; including a family member being the Hokage, Shou had a room to himself. It was even pretty decently furnished, all things considered. After all, it's not like the world was at outright war.

Shou would lay on his bed, brushing his hair away from his eyes and starting to relax. It was a bit early, but Shou had done his studying earlier. Keeping up with his Ninja related studies was the least he could do, considering the cost of the varying tests.

"Hey, you can't be in here, it's past visiting hours!"  A nurse's voice would angrily tell someone in a failed hushed tone.  "You'll wake up the patients, and they need their rest!"  She'd say again, voice like breaking glass.  How could she tell someone they'd wake up the patients when her voice carried through multiple layers of walls and was about as kind to the ears as nails on a chalkboard?  A peculiar sound was to follow.  There was something that sounded like a punch, and then something that sounded a lot like someone falling.  Then, silence.

Moments later, Shou could make out through the darkness in his room, the doorknob turning.  What seemed like a dozen cloaked figures would flood into the room on either side, surrounding Shou.  If Shou attempted to talk, he would find himself unable.  His mouth may move, and air may come out, but no sound other than that of his breath.  After a few moments, one of the hooded figures, in a feminine voice, would whisper back through the open door.  "All clear, my lord."  Moments later, an elderly man, hair the color of snow, would enter the hospital room.  



"Shou," a powerful voice would begin. "How are you this evening?"  It was strange.  His voice was calm.  Not warm, or concerned, but powerful and calm.  And... somehow... icy. Still, when asked a question, Shou would find himself capable of responding to it.  However, only that.

Shou was so very close to being asleep before he heard the nurses angry tone. It took a moment, but Shou would sit up. It wasn't until his door opened that he felt the needed to yell out and ask what had happened. This, however, proved impossible. This certainly wasn't something his family was doing, and that was proven as an old man walked in. The man was far too calm, and was most likely connected in some way to the multiple hooded figures that had filtered into the room.

Shou had to be honest, he wasn't a particular fan of how this felt like it was going. Surrounded, with no way out and a strangely calm and powerful old man? That's...ominous, or at least Shou thought so. He finally felt like he could talk again; so he'd fully sit on the side of bed.

"Tired, but fine." Shou would say, before figuring that answering any further about the subject was irrelevant. After all, this Old Man obviously came here with some intent in mind. What intent? Shou had no idea; but it was certainly no matter that Shou could handle. Even at his best; fighting this many people was...questionable. To put it politely; and to be it less politely? Shou would be dead before he could move.

The man appeared to be unchanged about Shou's answer. Moreover, he seemed not to care at all about the answer to the question he'd just asked. He did, however, walk closer to the foot of Shou's bed, resting his hands on the foot and leaning forward, slightly. He'd simply stare at Shou for what would feel like an eternity. Suddenly, if Shou tried, he'd find himself capable of speaking again; but entirely incapable of controlling the volume. All of his words would be vocalized in the form of a hushed whisper. The elderly man would gaze at Shou as though he was more of an... object, than a human.

"Shou... how would you like to walk again? To be a Ninja, again? To be a man? What would you do for that?" The man's voice was still stone cold. Uncaring. It was as though he could just as easily murder Shou as ask his questions, and be completely unperturbed by that. Somehow, he gave off the impression that if someone could pull off the miracle of making Shou walk again, it was this white haired man.

Distantly, footsteps could be heard. In that exact instant one of the hooded figures would completely disappear from the room. A similar sound would be heard now as before. A thump, followed by a crumple. What was going on?

Walking properly? Being a ninja? Those were big things they were promising, and they didn't give off the idea that they were there joking. Someone who's willing to, at best, assault if not kill a nurse...might just have the ability to heal him. Of course, Shou would shun the idea for a second but the lingering idea that not only could he be able to casually walk again, A second fact, one Shou chose to ignore at this very second as it doesn't seem relevant, is the fact that they could easily just pick him up and stab him.

So, his options were rather simple. Either take the deal, or probably die. That, combined with the theoretical bonus of being a ninja, made this choice rather easy.

"Anything."

The man who had yet to introduce himself would simply issue a satisfied smile. It was as though he knew that would be Shou's answer, and any other outcome was entirely impossible. "I believe you." he'd say. He would return to his original standing position, looking down his nose at the Nara. It was an expression that somehow conveyed that, from this moment on, he was Shou's God. The only one Shou had to answer to... and somehow, despite being only one man, it would be harder for Shou to answer to him than anyone the boy knew.

Perhaps Shou did not know what he'd gotten himself into?

The man was simply turn and leave. Two of the cloaked figures would follow him in haste, and the remaining would usher Shou to his feet. If he did not resist, he would be helped, silently, into the lobby outside his room in the intensive care unit that the once prodigal ninja had been assigned to. Through the darkness, Shou would be capable of making out what the last remaining cloaked figure was doing. A series of hand seals, and suddenly, an exact copy of Shou's body lay bleeding in his place.

Before he was able to respond to this, Shou would be asked a question by yet another cloaked figure, this one in the lobby. "One of these women killed the other, and you. The other was her helpless victim." It was the same voice Shou had heard earlier, letting the strange man know that his room was secure. If the kid looked in her direction, he'd see her standing between two unconscious women in chairs. Undoubtedly the ones who had previously been silenced. The strange, disguised woman would approach the Nara with a scalpel, placing it in his hand. "You choose who dies, and you kill them. Do this, and forget who you are. You are no longer Shou Nara, but an extension of the will of ROOT."

It was good that the old man was believing Shou. Shou would be helped into the lobby; which he very much appreciated the help. After all, walking to the lobby after laying down in his current condition? That was absolutely not happening. Once he was helped over, they told him in no uncertain terms the cost of this theoretical recovery. Murdering someone who's only crime was working at the place; and then framing the other.

Of course, Shou was a ninja. This, while dirty, wasn't something that was so shocking that he'd forget the mission. After all; murder was just a part of a Shinobi's arsenal of tricks. That, and pretending that what they did wasn't completely illegal a solid 90% of the time.

Should would take the scalpel; and slowly walk forward. Not on purpose or anything, he was just particularly weak. He'd arrive to the girl on the left; and without thinking, slashed her throat and then stabbed her in the chest.


He was no longer Shou Nara.

He was now going to be Hajime Noya.

That didn't stop the newly christened Hajime from sort of falling backwards after he did. Not out of shock, but sweat covered the body of Hajime.

He was really tried; but had a strange hope in his eyes.

"Good." The, at this point, familiar, female voice spoke to Hajime. "Welcome to ROOT." The hooded figure who had stood between the two women formed a few hand seals, then clasped his hands around the surviving woman's skull. No one said it, but it was pretty obvious some Genjutsu trickery was occurring. Before Hajime would fully be able to grasp what the hooded figure was doing; or maybe not, considering his bloodline; he'd be scooped up from his stumble backward, and a feeling of weightlessness would come over him, as he fell unconscious.

From outside the hospital, an onlooker would momentarily be able to spot a few things. First off, it was night. The middle of the night, in fact. Secondly, a bunch of cloaked figures would exit the shinobi hospital through a window on the third floor and scale the side of the building downward, carrying a small, dangling frame. The onlooker would not be able to make out any faces or identities, but they could certainly tell that a bunch of suspicious adults were carrying what had to be an unconscious child, or someone not much older than a child. It was certainly suspicious, and it had to be illegal. The figures would run off quickly; far too quickly to be followed by anyone who wasn't at least Jounin level in speed.

What is brewing in the Hidden Leaf Village?

Hisomu was wandering the streets of Konohagakure late at night, simply due to the reason of wanting to orientate herself before any major events. Although, this very freaking village crept her the hell out simply due to the architecture, which now included looming shadowy figures everything. She'd roll her eyes as she approached the specific building by mere chance.

Sheesh. Even their hospitals were utterly boring in appearance, and there was nothing special about the landscape either! If you'd want to pull a prank on someone, you'd have to either jump on the buildings or disappear in some alleyways. Tsk. It was such a bummer, but. . .wait.

Hisomu looked upwards to spot a bunch of shadowy figures - and those shadowy figures weren't her imagination at play, especially since that dangling fleshy body looked like someone her age. Holy fuck. Hisomu stumbled backwards and landed on her ass as she blinked in disbelief. She was at a loss for words, any sound even.

Was this some freaking normal occurrence? Was Hisomu being monitored and had by chance spotted her watchers? Or was she just so unlucky to encounter an actual criminal act taking place? Nah - surely not. Although, it wouldn't hurt to just . . check the interior of the building they had escaped from.

With that, Hisomu sought to enter the building where the 'incident' had taken place - but with careful steps. She was watchful, careful and utterly focused on any detail that'd jump in her face or any shadowy figures looming - which meant nurses included. Hisomu couldn't just flee to this village's police and scream about some shadowy figures. They were Shinobi! But if she knew a crime had taken place? Sheesh.

As Hisomu makes her way through the hospital, she will notice a few things. First off, it's eerily quiet. Now, that could be because it was a hospital in the middle of the night, or because this hospital was particularly creepy, or maybe... because the conditions had been set for something. As Hisomu continued down the dimly lit halls, making way toward the floor and room from which she'd seen the suspicious individuals exiting the building from, she'd notice a rather strange lack of hospital staff. There was no one there to stop her from going about her business. Was this out of the norm, or just because it was night time?

Finally, Hisomu would happen upon the lobby where The Incident had occurred. The very second Hisomu walked into the room, a mass of clothing with a shaking, feminine body inside it would collide into her. Hisomu would fail to catch a gimpse of what was going on in the room, for a bloody scalpel was slashing wildly at her throat while this unidentifiable woman in a hospital nurse's attire attempted to grapple her down. There weren't words, just the aggressive grunts of this strange nerse and the ruffle of her clothing. Hisomu would have no idea why she was being attacked.

You know, in this situation, it really comes into play that increased reaction time that Hisomu has. Whilst walking through the hallway, Hisomu would pick up one of those miniature slabs that patients use as a table to eat from on the bed. Whilst Hisomu was certainly not a place she was supposed to be - she certainly wanted to draw any attention to herself considering the whole building was eerily silent.

In other words, as Hisomu picked up those objects - she'd CONTINOUSLY BANG THEM AGAINST EACH OTHER. 'CLANG CLANG CLANG CLANG.'

And guess what. It certainly worked as some figure jumped her from the shadows! It was a freaking feminine figure - a nurse?! Oh, hey NUR-- Hisomu's metallic accessories turned from instrumental tools for music to instrumental tools for violence. 'Parrying' the incoming slash at her throat by banging the metallic slab against the nurse's weapon, Hisomu recoiled backwards.

Hisomu indeed had zero idea why she was being attacked, although the clanging noise might've done it. Who knows? Anyhow - Hisomu, as quick as she could, would throw the secondary metallic slab away, which meant at the nurse, as she quickly sought to weave the seals for the nightmare jutsu up her sleeve!

"WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU!? IS THIS HOW HOSPITALITY IS SHOWN HERE?!" Hisomu loudly exclaimed throughout the room with a yell at the very 'rude' introduction to this village's hospitality.

Sure, it'd traumatize the nurse but. . .eh. Hisomu also felt a very warm sensation flowing down her arm, which probably meant she had been cut by the nurse. Crap. In other words - NIGHTMARE JUTSU ON NURSE. If she was successful, this unfortunate lady would witness her inner-most nightmare, for a horrifying experience! At least until Hisomu could regain her position and ensure she had something to hit the nurse onto the back of her head with.

Hisomu would successfully trap this feral nurse into a Genjutsu. The woman would fall to her knees. It was impossible for the young Uchiha girl to determine exactly what pain she'd inflicted upon this member of the medical staff, but she could see the effects. Now, with a moment to breathe, Hisomu could see the elderly grey-haired woman's face. Eyes bloodshot with tears, it was clear that she'd been crying long before Hisomu inflicted her worst nightmare upon her. She screamed in anguish, a psychological pain clearly compounded by the Genjutsu she'd fallen under. She'd rock back and forth, flailing her arms wildly as if she had no idea what she was doing.

"It's not my fault! It's not my fault! I didn't mean to... I didn't know what I was doing! How... how could I hurt that poor boy?! How could I do that! HOW COULD I DO THAT?!?!" She'd collapse, scalpel clattering across the floor. She was clearly no longer a danger, as she became a shriveling mess. What had she done?

Her out of the way of the doorway now, Hisomu could see past her. If she looked, she'd see trails and pools of blood in the room behind the elderly nurse. In a chair at the nurse's station would be a younger woman, also wearing the hospital's nurse uniform, blood all over her clothing, not moving. Motionless. Lifeless. What in the devil's name was happening?

Hisomu nodded to herself as she looked at her own hand - which had been badly cut. At least the hospitals were sterile, right? Hah. Hah. Hisomu flicked her wrist like she was waving off a bad burn. She'd glance down at the discarded scalp before kicking it away. If that nurse woke up - she'd need to crawl for that weapon once more.

Hisomu's glance, foremost, went to the discarded 'musical' instruments she had used to defend herself and contemplated whether to pick them up and ensure the nurse stayed asleep. In other words, Hisomu considered bonking her on the back of her head for safe measure.  Yeah - just what had this nurse done?

Whilst this was a rather shocking situation, Hisomu was currently running on adrenaline - and that eased the reality of the situation a slight bit - the whole traumatize an elderly nurse. Wandering through the dark, Hisomu equipped another set of 'metallic' instruments - and spotted the silhouette  of another figure. This time a younger woman.

SHE WAS GOING TO JUMP AT HER! Hisomu thought to herself in the sporadic moment as she raised her food-tray and smacked it across the Nurse's lifeless face. Hisomu was just taking a precaution - she had already been assaulted once! However, the reality of the situation quickly kicked in as this lady had been maimed, cut and. . . It was at this point that Hisomu's adredaline began to lose the fight against the horror before her. Hisomu was just a kid - and her witnessing this was piling up despite her happy-go attitude!

Hisomu's breathing became unstable, quick - almost hyperventilating as her body began to shake. It was beginning to become proper horrifying for her, especially with the playful imagination of someone young - she'd begin to imagine shapes, other figures before hurdling down into a ball. Hands above her head, Hisomu hyper ventilated for a considerable time before jumping up.

She had to get through this - Hisomu had to manage through this. It was a disgusting place, it was meant to be kind and cheerful! Help the sick! Not a murder-house of psychopathic nurses desiring to do an examination of your insides whilst you're alive! Her throat felt dry, and she'd look back at the entrance.

If she went out like this, she'd surely be framed. Oh, god! Had she been so stupid to wander in on a frame to be framed?! She was a Kumogakure-nin! These were civilians! She was like that, but one step above! Hisomu slapped her cheek to regain her composure! Hisomu was an Uchiha, known across the world! Whilst she did want to scream, not a single noise came out.

With slight determination and a harrowing feeling up her spine, Hisomu continued forward after examining anything note-worthy nearby. Was the whole hospital like this? The Floor Above?

As Hisomu advanced forward into the lobby with the much younger, and obviously dead nurse, she would happen across a door left ajar. Through this door, she could see a boy who lay dead, slain in a manner similar to the dead nurse who sat upright in one of the chairs in the lobby. It was impossible to tell the body was fake, for the young Uchiha. Perhaps, if she had her Sharingan, she'd be able to tell something was odd about the body, but probably still wouldn't be able to surmise that it was a replica of a boy who still lived.

If she investigated further, Hisomu would find a chart, detailing some massive injury to the chakra network of one named Shou Nara. If Hisomu knew much about the Leaf, she would be able to surmise that the young boy shared a clan with the Hokage, and that a member of the same clan as the Hokage had been murdered! She wouldn't be able to think long, however. With seemingly no cause, she would fall unconscious; was she hit? Genjutsu, maybe? Either way, she'd awake the next morning, safe and sound in her hotel room. Even the wound she'd sustained from the crazed nurse would be healed. Had she dreamt everything?

It was obvious that Hisomu could only continue forward at this point, for the alternative was curling up into a ball onto the floor and be framed for this horrendous crime. The door was slightly left ajar caught her attention, albeit the whole situation did seem a bit… fabricated – but in Hisomu’s distressed state, she couldn’t think clearly. If this was set-up, she was surely walking into it blindfolded. With a careful hand reaching towards the door, Hisomu would abruptly push it open in an angsty gesture due to the anxiety and fear boiling within her. Anything could be behind it.

Her eyes had already adjusted to the dark, but fortunately for her – the thing she noticed foremost was the chart with all the important details about the victim she hadn’t yet seen. Despite having limited knowledge about the village, these names did stand out to a certain degree. It was more than enough for her to surmise that something amiss. Whilst Hisomu read the chart with an unsure eye, there was something out the corner of her eye that caught her eye.

It was a sight that utmost frightening for Hisomu at this mere age, something or someone that utterly mutilated this boy who sat in the chair – and the imaginary was slipping between reality and her imagination at play. What was before was only magnified in visuals as Hisomu stumbled backwards from the murder at hand, the crime before that was presumably connected to a member of the Hokage’s family. Hisomu was at an utter loss for words, and for every time she sought to speak and utter another phrase, nothing came out aside from gasps and exhales. Oh, god. Just why did it have to be her that had stumbled in on this incident, this framing that had occurred? Maddened nurse or not, something had to be at play here.

You know – the highest-ranking individual within a village? Landing on her rear as she crawled backwards from the sight, Hisomu’s sight began to deteriorate as her mind became fuzzed with an uneasy fog as her thoughts became clouded. There was a slight contrast in the situation however as Hisomu struggled to keep herself conscious as her sight fought against the fading sight – becoming clear for but a moment as her sharingan awaked from the horrifying experience and thoughts haunting her if she was to be blamed for this. It was however too late for her to notice anything crucial as her mind gave into the power at play.

With that, Hisomu woke up sweating in her bed – shocked from this supposed dream. Her breathing was heavy as she slapped her own face to test whether she was still dreaming. She wasn’t – but it sure did hit. Yet, there was a lingering headache for her, from the activation of the sharingan within that supposed dream. She wouldn’t be quite sure of it just yet but-. . oh god, she had an exam to tend to.
