He has red hair and a deep scar over his left eye. Paired with the red hair are amber colored eyes that can flicker to boyishly innocent to angry and full of violence in a moment - and back again. He tends to wear athletic clothing, even when not at the academy or training, and the most he'll dress up with are a pair of nice jeans and an open button up shirt with a white t-shirt underneath. Truly, he looks like any other young teen his age. He maintains a mostly playful attitude fit for the young schoolboy that he is. He loves to make jokes featuring sarcasm and satire, as well as goofy jokes or ones that feature him acting a bit less intelligent than he actually is. He doesn't mind being the butt of a joke, so long as it is humorous and well-intended, nor does he mind being the butt of his own humor. There are times when Shojin is forced to be a bit more serious, however. Whether he be fighting, or at an important meeting for his clan, he is mostly quiet, and listens more than he talks. Thought it is rare to see him this way, he has the makings of a shrewd businessmen in his future. That said, he has a great disdain for being forced to go these meetings often, and, for the most part, prefers to sneak away and allow for the all-knowing adults to handle it while he goes off and trains or hangs out with his friends.Character History: Shojin's history is greatly intertwined with that of his clan. At a time when the Kagemori clan is suffering financially, coffers run bone dry, most of the clan and its artisans now are busy making typical tools and equipment for the average working-class man. Because their intended clientele are these working-class men, profits are almost entirely non-existent. That being the case, more often than not, most children of the clan have been forced to learn at least the fundamentals of blacksmithing as a method of vetting who may or may not possess the Kagemori Clan's Kekkei Genkai, the Jigoku no Jizo.
Shojin has been the first in nearly a century. Born to two bottom working-class parents, Shojin's life would have been pilfered of any and all opportunity, were it not for the Kekkei Genkai he was born with. Instead, even as a small child, Shojin has spent just as much time in a blacksmithing workshop as he has in class at the Ninja Academy. In fact, the adolescent boy's parents forbade him from becoming a ninja at all. He was nine years old when he was forced to boycott the work that was forced upon him in the workshop in order to convince his parents to give in and allow him to follow his dream. It has been four years since that week, and Shojin is almost entirely without free-time. He spends seven hours per day at the workshop and another seven in classes, and his grades are almost bottom of his class because he has never had time to study or train outside of school. Only recently has Shojin begun to feel confident in even sparring with his classmates, most of whom are younger than he. His story truly begins here. What will he accomplish throughout his life? | |
