PostSubject: LET THE EXAMS BEGIN! (PART 1)   Sat Feb 11, 2017 10:09 am

Fumetsu was up early, headed to the special place that would host the first half of the chuunin exams. It was a large national park, 10 km in diameter. It is separated into four quadrants, a mountainous region to the northeast, a desert to the northwest, a forest to the south west, and plains to the southeast. He knew that there might be some deaths so he had spread his seals to various spots throughout each quadrant. He activated the board that would flash a few times before displaying the team placements. It read:
Team 1: Sera Uchiha, Tatsu Akashiya, Kubo Ongaku
Team 2: Itsuki Kai, Mao Noblord, Akataka Kugeki
Team 3: Apollo Joshosensi, Yuuichi Amatsu
Team 4: Team 4: Team 4: Team 4: Kenshi Omo, Laxus Jugo

He noticed that two of the teams were three man cells and two of them were only two man cells. This must be due to the number of participants and the nature of the exam itself. Either way, it was a test to see how the Genin would react to not being given ideal situations to thrive in. From what he was told though, the two teams that had fewer numbers got first pick to their starting quadrant. From here he would sit at the desk at the front of the meeting room to await the participants so he could discuss the rules and get them started.

Itsuki woke up with an excited grin on his face. He had been training non-stop for the last couple of months to hone his skills to a point he was confident in entering the exams. He skipped breakfast, as he had been doing for the past two months. It would seem that with the activation of his seal, he had lost the need or ability to eat anything. It also gave him the ability to control special sand to a high degree. The only obvious downfall to the activation was the odd voices he would get in his head at times. They told him to kill and destroy, driving him to insanity at some points. He also had to deal with these odd red strands of hair that would sporadically appear. His eyes had also lost some color, fading to a light blue color.

He made his way into the room they were told to meet in and saw the examiner sitting behind a desk. The room was rather large, definitely big enough to hold any and all competitors. He looked at the board holding the teams and would move to sit at the table labeled for those in Team 2. He would sit and wait patiently, meditating and going over battle tactics in his mind. He knew his strengths and his weaknesses, he just hoped those in his team would be able to supplement those.

Tatsu entered the meeting room and gaged everyone in the room so far. It seemed that the man behind the desk was their instructor, he didn’t look to be anything special. But then most powerful shinobi don’t. The other Genin in the room didn’t look too powerful either, he looked and felt oberall equal in power to tatsu. He glanced at the board, not giving it too much thought and went to the table labeled 1. He would sit and wait for his new ‘team’ to arrive.

A sign, Akataka Kugeki’s mortal foe, while a Kugeki wasn’t oft inconvenienced by their lack of eye sight; this was the one area they could not replicate with their own senses. Akataka supposed he could shout at the sign and try to see where the ink was but this did not seem to be one of those signs. Sighing and straightening out his three piece suit and gloves and tie and then tying his laces one last time he approached the meeting room.

Upon opening the door he assessed the situation at once, there were two younger ninja sitting at different tables and one older one who reeked of experience sat behind a desk. His nose and ears told him this and much more as he waved at the group. In a chipper voice he asked the assembled ninjas “Can anyone tell me what team I am on? My eyes don’t read no good very well much” As he asked he brought his other hand(his left was still waving) up to his right eye and poked it a few times as if to display it’s lack of working condition.

Rei approache the building which was temporarily being used as a meeting place for the participants of the Chuunin exam. A branch of the shinobi academy that was specifically reserved for the Chuunin participants. It was a large building, as was what Mao guessed all prominent villages ha to train the younger generations. The village of Seishigakure was different from Mao's own village, different than he expected. Then again, Mao hadn't been a part of yamigakure too long himself, nor been a villager there. He had grown up in a small farm village and his father from Yamigakure visitied every so often. After the passing of his mother, Mao had set out to find his father and join the village officially as a shinobi. Fate was a cruel thing however, for as Mao had arrived in Yamigakure, all but two survivors of his Noblord clan ha been annihilating, including Mao's father. Only his brother Mugetsu remained, as well as one other.

Mao cleared his dark thoughts as he brought his han up to the door and opened it as he peered in quietly and walked in. It was a large school-type of room with several tables, a teacher's desk and a chalk board. The chalk board showed who was on what teams. Mao saw his name as Team#2 and then saw the table labeled the matching number. It was a three man cell and the other two participants had already assembled, though Mao didn't know for sure. One boy was wearing a suit, quite an odd appearance for a meeting such as this. Yet he appeared to be blind and hadn't a means to acertain what team he was in. Possibly blind, that was a problem or so Mao thought silently.
Moreso, the individual wished for someone to help him read the board to he could know where to go... yet he hadn't introduced himself. No one had a means to know who he was to tell him where he belonged. Mao sighed as he walked up casually beside the blind guy and verbally said the teams out loud. Those are the teams. Though next time, it might be easier to tell you where you belonged if you first introduced yourself. I am Mao and I am on team#2 he then went over and sat at Team#2's table, next to Itsuki. I am Mao Noblord. Are you on Team#2? After introductions, Mao would peer at the other participants, hoping to gleam some useful information from them by their appearance. He himself wore his special clothes for the exams. He wore a fishnet sleeveless undershirt, covered by a long leather jacket. He wore black leather pants as well as some black steeltoe boots: three belts hung from his hips in an "X" shape and white bandages covered his fists to his elbows beneath the jacket.

Laxus would arrive still somewhat earlier as most of the Genin had yet to arrive. He could see that this was going to be an event requiring teams most of which where from different villages and squads. It would seem that Laxus had been paired in a team in which on him and one other person would be working together. While that was a little upsetting that he couldn't make more friends he would decide to make the best of the situation. He would take a seat at the table in wait for his partner to arrive. It would seem that his partner was a native to Chowagakure was well, this would be interesting.

Even still Laxus felt a slight bit of nervousness, looking around he wasn't sure if his powers and abilities would be enough to help him protect his teammate or even fight of the other ninja. His strongest ability was just his Sage Mode, he was sure that there were others would had better abilities them him but of course the blond haired boy would put up one hell of a fight.

It would seem as if Apollo had arrived at a decent time, he would look around checking out all of the other ninja that had gathered in the exam rooms. Moving to the information desk he would sign in both finding his table and number. It would seem that he was only paired with one other person, good he didn't need to communicate with anyone no more then he had too, this was not a place to fraternize and make friends, this was a competition to see who would be capable of making it to the rank of Chunnin.

Apollo would sit at his table with his eyes closed waiting on his member to arrive, he did not want to be bothered at this exact moment but if it so happened he would decide to handle the situation a nice as he possibly could. Although he didn't really like being in this situation he would at some point would have to open up in this world and he would know that. It wasn't as if it was his plan to always been angry and an asshole but that's how he survived thus far, and undoing all of that would certainly not happen over night.

The Seishikage had arrived before anyone else to the place of the Chuunin exams! Deciding to play a practical joke on the genin that would come to test their skills. She had set herself up in a corner and using the Cloak of Invisibility jutsu she was able to hid in her corner underneath the piece of cloth. She watched intently as all the children and adults filed in, eventually when most of them were here she'd burst out of her hiding spot and hopefully make everyone jump a bit and get that mind ready for a world of surprises.

"WELCOME TO THE CHUUNIN EXAMS! I'm your host and blah blah you know the rest. Now we wait for the other people that missed my awesome entrance"

Despite his reputation as being one of the early risers to the important gatherings the rather odd ghostly boy arrived rather late compared to everyone else. He arrived into the room just as the Seishikage finished her entrance and looked around before going to check the board, ignoring people until he looked through the names and found his team member, noticing he was only in a pair but nevertheless he was confident he would be able to handle what ever came his way. With this sorted out he stood in the corner while waiting for the exams to continue.

Okami walked into the room, none the worse for wear from the four to six hours of sleep he'd managed to get. Walking in, he noted the teams on the board before walking over to sit next to Mariko Kai, the Seishikage. She had sent a man who introduced himself as her lapdog to escort him there, promising that his wife and children would be safe while he was busy judging the first half of the Exams. He wore his usual Kage garb, complete with flak jacket and haori, and his black leather eyepatch sat over his left eye in it's usual spot. He had witnessed the younger female's entrance, but was ignoring commenting on it before he ascertained her level of comfort around him. He noticed that the man who had escorted him here, Muteki, was still standing outside just in case, and he assumed that the level of security was heightened exponentially when he stated that he was coming. There would be an issue politically if he wasn't allowed to, but it was still awkward as hell after what had happened. Deciding to bite the damned kunai on this one, the man sighed, putting on a smile despite the circumstances, and introduced himself to the room. "Hello! I'm Okami Uchiha, the Second Chowakage. I'll be one of the judges for the Exams. It's nice to meet you all!"

Goken would enter the room just behind Okami. It was awkward enough that the two “arch-enemies” would arrive at the same time. So after Okami introduced himself Goken would follow suit, “I am Goken Joshosenshi, the Yondaime Yamikage. The third and final judge. I look forward tk seeing your performances.” He would give one final smile and proceed to his seat on the other side of Mariko. He would see Apollo sitting at one of the tables, he was excited to watch these exams unfold.

Kenshi Omo was a genin. That much was known about the young man who had entered the competition as a competitior. What most most likely wouldn’t expect is that Kenshi had worn his white, fancy coat and pants to the event, with the only thing giving the impression that he was a ninja, was his combat boots that he wore under everything. He had combed his hair back, his visage not giving away that he had, in fact, been up for at least four days now, and not because of stress. Kenshi, unlike most, didn’t stress. He took things as they came, calmly. He was practically Zen for 90% of the time, since he couldn’t properly feel emotion, much less since he was in constant pain. Not a very bad pain, but it still existed. That much, he knew.

However, as he walked in, he peered towards the screen that held the teams and who were in them. There must have been a lack of proper people, as it was uneven. He was in one of the two man cells… with a boy named Laxus. What a unique name, most likely going to lend to a unique boy. He’d, with large strides, ignore the kage and sit at the table next to Laxus, and introduce himself.

“Yo~ I’m Kenshi Omo; Card throwing master.”

He put his hand out for Laxus to shake. The superficial charm was to be activated.

Sera's strategy was already in effect. Everything from the somewhat annoyed expression that she held on her face to the portrayed lack of properly caring about the Chuunin Exams was designed to project herself as someone who simply had no time for such trivial concerns. She stood erect, and she surveyed everything around her by looking down her nose, standing in the doorway as the last arrival. Good. That fit even better.

Of course all of this was a facade, and inside she couldn't help but squirm in excitement, but her strategy was one of intimidation. She was older than most of these individuals, and she had a certain sexual allure about her that she decided to play on as well, with the hope of, not seducing anyone, but to further increase the effect that was to make others believe that the exams were simply a side piece of business for her, a stop in her list of errands. She looked at the team roster and mentally noted that one of her teammates were from her village, but that he probably wouldn't know her. She did, however, make note of the fact that that would give her more leverage in seizing the leadership of the team, as it was natural to be more inclined toward members of your own village.

The woman knew that only Okami and Kenshi would see through her facade, and only because they already knew her, as she was quite adept in hiding her true self, always pretending to be so chipper, and that was the side of her that Okami and Kenshi knew. Truthfully, in some ways, this side of her was closer to herself than that side. That aside, she approached the table that held her teammates, members of team number one, and stood beside it, looking at neither of them and folding her arms, watching the individual at the head table. Seeing Tatsu upon her approach before diverting her attention to the head table, she did, however, recognize him from that day training in the woods, but the two had only exchanged short words, and he probably didn't remember anything about her, and definitely not enough to see through her lie.

Once he saw that everyone was settled in the room, Fumetsu would stand from the desk. He offered a discreet nod to his Kage, and made sure to keep a wary eye on Okami as he walked over to the board. Pressing a button on the wall, a map of the grounds would descend. It showed a large circular shape that was clearly divided into four diverse sections. A desert, A mountainous region, A forest, and grassy plains. He would also produce two different scrolls from his hands. Looking to each of the chuunin hopefuls he would speak. “I am Fumetsu Ametsuchi, the proctor for these first exams. Your task is simple yet complex and difficult. Survive and make it to the tower at the center of the arena. You have three days. Though, to gain entrance, you will need to have not one, but BOTH of these scrolls. Each team will be given a scroll at the start. This will resemble an important information package that must reach its destination in one piece. You and your team are in charge of its safety. But, you also need to gather one of the other teams’ information also. So, not only must you survive in these diverse conditions with large animals and other Genin out to kill you, but also with trying to complete your own mission. You may die in these examinations, So I would suggest preparing yourself for that possibility. As you might have noticed, the teams are uneven. This is due in part to the number of people participating, but also to ready you for missions in which you wont be under the ideal conditions or you won’t have reliable back up. Sure, you may say this isn’t fair, but I say to you, Life is not fair. Team four, you get first pick of starting quadrant. Next will be three, then two then team one will get the remaining quadrant. So, please select a team leader and have that person step forwards. Come now, we don’t have all day. Oh, and if you value your lives, I wouldn’t open those scrolls before you reach the tower.” He would then stand to the side, ready for the team’s leaders to come forwards. Once they did, he would form the special seal and that team would find themselves at the farthest reaches of their chosen quadrant. Team four would have a heaven scroll, Team three gets an earth scroll, Team two gets a heaven scroll, and team one gets earth. The scrolls will be lying on the ground just in front of where the team will appear. Fumetsu would then turn to the Kage who are remaining, “If you’ll follow me, I will show you to the observation booth. It will allow you to watch all that happens in this exam. You will be able to find specific genin, along with watch any and all battles that go on. If a genin is to get too injured, die or open their scroll before at the tower, I will retrieve them and have them brought here for their kage to decide what to do with them.” He would lead the kage to a room full of large screens. One could clearly see all of the happenings of the event, not an inch wasn’t covered in some area of the wall of screens. The wall was divided into four sections to keep track of each quadrant.

Itsuki would look around the room. So his teammates had arrived. Looking at them he wasn’t quite sure what to think. One he could now say for certain was blind, while normally this would be a cause for greater concern than he was giving it, he was confident that the boy wouldn’t enter exams such as this without some skill in combat. The other boy was still a mystery, but he carried himself confidently and that was enough for him. He would introduce himself to his team along with some information about himself. “Hi, the name’s Itsuki Kai! I specialize in Ninjutsu, mostly long and medium range. I am a wind nature user, but I also have a… unique Kekkei Genkai, we can discuss that more once we are on the field, though it has to do with sand. So if it’s available when we choose, the desert biome sounds the best! But, I do not really care were we go!” He would then look at the other two expectantly. It would seem that the three kage had arrived too and were sitting in special seats off to the side. He was nervous for his sister, but he had faith that she could take care of herself. Besides, from what she knew, Seishigakure and Yamigakure were still allies, though they had broken off ties with Chowagakure.

Tatsu’s red eyes would drift to the boy who had approached him. Kubo Ongaku, the other boy offered his hand and Tatsu took it in the typical manner of a pleasant greeting. “I am Tatsu Akashiya, It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance.” With that he would go back to gaging the room. Then the three kage would arrive. There was a discreet but noticeable tension that followed them in, it quickly seemed to spread over the room. Tatsu opted to ignore it as their final teammate approached. He vaguely recognized her from a training day in the forest, though decided not to play too much into it. “I’m Tatsu Akashiya, we have met once before. Perhaps we should begin to discuss things of importance, such as our strengths and weaknesses? As it seems with this exam, we must rely on our whole team to complete it.” He noticed her seemingly stuck up attitude and didn’t recall that the last time he saw her, perhaps something had happened since then. Either way, with the way this first exam was laid out, she would need to swallow whatever it was that was choking her up and work with them as a team. He felt some dark auras throughout the room and they put him on edge. Brushing some of his white hair from his face his red eyes would go back to surveying the room, checking to find any and all weaknesses from appearance alone.

Kosuke would swirl into existence just outside of the building. He had on his old, white ANBU captain cloak and the cat mask that Okami had left for him. Walking towards the door to the building he saw the other “Body guards” waiting just outside of the room. He decided to skip that and activating Kamui completely hid his presence and slunk into the ground. He would watch the happenings of the room from within the walls, undetected by all except possibly Okami who knows he would pull something like this. It was clear that the Genin were going to have a rough go at it, but he was confident in the ones from his village. He looked at Sera and wondered briefly why she was acting that way. But he didn’t pay too much mind to it and just continued to watch the happenings.

(You can now just skip Kosuke, he will be watching, but this is possibly his only needed post for this half)

Most delightful to meet you Mao, I am heartened you would go through such the trouble as listing off the whole thing. I do dislike written word, hides it’s secrets from me too often” Akataka’s motor mouth continued after he extended his hand “Akataka Kugeki-oh shit god damn I forgot I was here under my alias, wait then how, oh never mind call me Akataka”. After this he would wait as the third member of their team spoke, something seemed off about what he could sense on him but it was more odd than evil so the young Kugeki dismissed it to the back of his mind, it was probably just a random feeling. “Oh good Itsuki your sand will most certainly-“ Akataka dropped his voice so only the two next to him could hear or anyone with a Kekki Genkai like himself as nobody had any amplification jutsus activated “help my ‘vision’” this was helped by the sounds of the gears lowering the map. Sounds which also gave him a better view of the room than someone would have with their eyes.

It truly did not matter which biome they picked, nor if they triumphed to Akataka, instead he had a feeling something related to the attack on his village would happen here. He could smell it on the air, certain electricity was in the room, tension and suspicions were high. Though only barely interested Akataka committed the map to memory so he could easily pick out traps other ninjas would set in the environments. It sounded as though to complete the task they would have to incapacitate another team, Akataka had no plans on killing but he doubted that would stop him from doing so if it were the best option. Still he wondered how pitting ninjas against each other in life or death situations would ever help relations between the villages. He knew that as long as the exams were run like this, there would never be peace. To him it was as foolish as hiding behind a piece of cloth in the side of the wall and assuming nobody would notice you, it was wrong and childish thinking. That was all.

I’m guessing Mao would like to lead?” Akataka intoned as he shifted his attention to the Kages and the conversation there. There would be clues here, there was something more to this after all and Akataka would be damned if he was going to let the clue escape. Still his mind drifted back to the exam, he could stay up three days having just slept before the meeting but he did not expect to be cheerful at the end of it, perhaps this exam would be more annoyance than it was worth.

While it did not give him any clues on what he cared about he did pick up with his extremely sensitive ears that if a genin were to open a scroll they would be retrieved. Something he would keep in mind in case one of the other genin just used this as an excuse to murder others, though perhaps Akataka would just hang them by their skin inch by inch near the tower as an example. Perhaps turning what once protected the muscles and sinew into a sheet detailing their sins? Yeah that would probably go over better, he thought to himself before waiting for the team leader to pick up the scroll. As they were not given further instructions, it must have been some form of space time seal that would bring them right to the testing fields. As such all he had to do now was sit, observe and wait.

PostSubject: Re: LET THE EXAMS BEGIN! (PART 1)   Wed Feb 15, 2017 12:38 pm

After Mao's arrival and subsequent interaction with whom would become to known as Akataka and a teammate for the Chuunin Exams, things would begin to pick up in pace as one person after another arrived. Although, "arrived" was not the most accurate description: for the Seishikage had been there all along, hidden for a practical joke on the neophytes of the shinobi world. Mao had been focused on interacting with his new teammates and picking up on bits of information about those around him: far too focused on multitasking the multiple sources of information to be prepared. Mao had sat down, already somewhat pensive and engrossed in his own thoughts- was fully surprised as the Seishikage jumped out from the corner of invisibility.

Though he "jump" wasn't physically literal, his body did twitch and his head jerked in her direction. Immediately embarrassed, he nodded respectfully to her and welcomed her kind of reminder. He was embarrassed for his body reacting to the surprise, no doubt others were watching him and would have seen him surprise as complete. The mark of an amateur, not that any of them were professionals, but it would instill the idea in some that Mao was inexperienced and not ready for this momentous task. The Seishikage's surprise did right him in his mind however: this was a real test of life and death. If she had been an enemy waiting in silence, she could have easily killed many of them if not all of them with her element of surprise. Mao couldn't afford to be caught off-guard.

His attention was turned back to his temporary comrades. Akataka and Istuki, they were pleasant names. Both seemed positive in their demeanor, but deceptions came in many forms. This very test's underlying scheme was a psychosomatic battle of utilizing skills even amongst potential enemies and still have tricks left to use later on as trump cards. He would give a small smile to both of them however and return Itsuki's gesture. Ninjutsu and Bukijutsu for myself, though I do have an affinity to the steel element. I specialize in close range. He purposefully left out mention of his skill in Jikukan. It was best not to reveal all his tricks, especially in a room crowded with potential rivals who could be listening carefully to their discussion. Jikukan was a useful skill and hard to discern by an opponent. It was best if his allies and enemies both assumed his skill with weapons was limited to Ninjutsu.

After that, several more people arrived. Some participants and some more prominent figures. This was the first time seeing many of their faces, especially the different Kage. He knew Goken somewhat personally through his first day in the village. He had seen the Yamikage's full might and had nearly passed out just from standing near him in all his might. It was thanks to that encounter that Mao had been united with his only surviving family member, his big brother Mugetsu. Among the others, he only recognized Okami an that was by name alone. His eyes narrowed a bit as Okami introduced himself. He's the one... Okami was the one who had killed all but two of his clan. Mao stared intently, etching the man's appearance into his memory. There would be a day when Okami would pay for his deeds. Word was the Chowakage was being controlled and forced into attacking their village and killing many. It was conceivable, but highly unlikely. Mao respecte the man's position of power and responsibility, but he did not trust the Uchiha, nor did he believe the sincerity of the man's regret for what happened.

With all of the kage assembled and introduced as the judges of the exams, things would progress more rapidly now with all of the participants present and initially informed of the proceedings to get the exam underway. Incidentally, Mao had purposefully ignore Sera as she had entered. Mao was observant and could read body language quite well. His mother had spoiled him as a young child, but he ha grown up in a small farm village as an only child. He had trained earnestly in the ways of his clan whenever his father would visit- but he was a shy boy and an introvert as heart. Even normal days with his blood brother were often silent with few words. Mao had grown up in the small village, distant from the other children and yet always watching. As he had gotten older, he had learned a thing or two about females. Though Sera was undeniably pretty, she spelled trouble. Trouble during a troubling exam was the last thing Mao wanted or needed: he simply hoped ignoring her would let things pass and he could escape her radar.

Finally, Fumetsu began as he spoke. Mao listened intently to the explanation, carefully noting points of importance and trouble. The land type environment mattered very little to him, but for Itsuki's sake, the sand would aid their cause. So naturally, he hoped they would have the opportunity to claim the desert. While he listened, he pulled out his art book and began to make a detailed depiction of the map on two pages in his book. A map would be vital to coordination once they were on the field- most important was surviving and making it to the tower: whether they passed or failed the exam. To Mao, his priority was surviving and keeping his two teammates alive. In a like-manner, he  had no intention of killing anyone, but he would not hesitate to return any animosity or ill will. If it was a question to whether he could kill or not, he most certainly could. His clan was a renowned clan for their skill with weapons: one of the first things his father had instilled into him, was the resolve to kill.

Itsuki seemed to casually interested but uncaring as to whom led, and Akataka volunteered Mao. To Mao, it was the mot uncomfortable position, especially for someone of his temperament. Despite his own discomfort, it was probably best this way. He was quiet, calm and intelligent. He was observant, calculative and shrewd. Some bonds could only be forge by the thick of battle, comradre as it were. Over this first section of the exam, Mao felt he was going to grow bonds with these two teammates at his table. I will be the leader then, but please. I look for your guidance as well. Though he was leader, he knew the most important thing was respect and understanding between each other. Otherwise there would be no ability to trust or work together efficiently. He would walk forward towards Fumetsu, nodding to each Kage as he went, especially towards his own Kage Goken. This exam was vital to the village of Yamigakure. They had suffered a crippling assault from Okami, their people had died in countless numbers. Whole clans. Needless to say, their military might had been weakened and though Goken was powerful, he was but one man. Few participants from Yamigakure were here this year. It was on Mao's shoulders to represent his village and display power that would make others question whether it was wise to consider Yamigakure a target or not. After all, even a scared cat backed into a corner could still bite.

He would approach Fumetsu to receive the scroll, recognizing the seal upon it as the heaven scroll. He would plan hold it close, intentionally preventing everyone else from seeing what type of scroll it was. The chances were that the other teams would not know who possessed which scrolls. Knowledge was half the battle an he ensured that he would not allow his opponents to know he was their target from the very start. Assuming the previous two teams hadn't chosen the sand quadrant of the map, that would be his choice as team leader and convey that to Fumetsu. He would not get the chance to receive the scroll directly from Fumetsu however, as he and his two teammates would find themselves transported to their quadrant and the scroll on the ground before them. The exam had started and the first order of business was to determine which of them was most suitable for protecting the scroll.

Laxus while seeming oblivious was paying attention to all every piece of information from each Genin being thrown around the room. From the people on team one seemingly disclosing their entire skill sets to thoughs on team two briefly discussing certain things Laxus made careful attention to absorb the words of all the ninja in the room into his mind. But this would not prepare him for the nasty feel in the air. Laxus in fact confused as to what the tension in the air had become besides the fact that the Seishikage was a goof ball, the uneasiness in the was enough to cause conflict.

The moment his teammate would step through the door and introduce himself Laxus, was torn away from the uneasiness in the air. Laxus would smile at Kenshi Omo. He would smile before reaching out to grasp his hand for a shake. From the most part the young man was nice and it seemed as if he was originally from the same village as him so maybe this could be not only a temporary teammate but a future friend and ally. "Hello there I am Laxus Jugo, also known as Chimera Kid, if you don't mind I think you should lead the group, while I am an excellent ninja I am not to good with giving out orders or judging a situation just yet."

Laxus would certainly relay all and any information Kenshi needed to know as soon as the two were in whatever quadrant he decided to pick. It quite honestly did not matter to Laxus, he would be able to familiar himself and if necessary change any unfavorable environment they needed to if they ran into to much trouble.

Apollo still set there with his eyes closed as event unfolded around him he of course had nothing to do but listen to all of the events the moment the Seishikage jumped out at everyone Apollo would open his eyes. If one of the Kage were here it meant all of the other were. Including the Chowakage, he wanted to see the man that single handedly almost destroyed the entire village of Yamigakure. Staring him deep within his eyes and scowling deeply he would shrug the man off, as he returned back to a state in which he eyes were once again closed. It didn't matter to him who was the leader of his group and it didn't seem as if he partner was even interested in communicating. Apollo this only time would play nice and follow orders, even if the two didn't communicate they still needed to work together as they were already at a slight disadvantage. He would hope his partner took the hint and accepted the role of group leader as well as picking their quadrant.

Mariko stood there and sighed as she listened to Fumetsu, deciding to leave and head towards where the Kage were to stay although next to Okami she was a little unimpressed, she knew that him showing his face here was quite the problem. Mariko had gone back on her word as Seishikage in that the village would not affiliate with Chowagakure so long as Okami Uchiha was Chowakage.

Not only that, the fact that Yamigakure shinobi were here only made it worse, Okami was the most hated person in the world from the general populace and she was easily losing love for her actions in the village for doing this. Nevertheless she smiled and pushed the two Kage into the observation room to let the Genin get themselves sorted.

Yuuichi stood there as he sought out Apollo, his body "accidently" being pushed through the teams since it was the "only way" for him to get to his teammate but in reality he was using his Mind's Eye of the Kagura to detect all their chakra signatures as well as trying to determine chakra types but the real reason was to eavesdrop.

"I'm sorry, please accept my most humble apologies"

He'd continue to speak all this as he wandered and tried to listen to gather intel on his opponents strengths and weaknesses until he finally arrived next to Apollo and smiled.

"Hi I am Yuuichi, let's not discuss anything about ourselves until we are away from the other teams okay you can be the leader if you want."
