Squad 0's Debut! [Private | Tatsuo]

Having gone through some rigorous training from Hideaki; Talic had started to learn more about how his chakra can interact with the natural earth giving him more ideas and how to improve his techniques further. However this morning Talic was taking it slow letting the sun rise before getting ready to leave his bed only to be met by a sudden bombardment of knocking on his bedroom door. *Th-thump thump thump* Talic rolling off his bed would be thoroughly confused mainly due to who would have permission to enter the Kage's manor? In a groggy voice.   "It's unlo-" Before Talic could even finish his statement the door would be flung open to be pounced by Hideaki.

"Sleeping in?! You can't do that!" Talic seeming to calm down that is had only been Hideaki would pry himself away from the rabbit would be caught off guard as a rather tall individual would enter the room after. "Your late for our first mission Talic..I'm sure even Tatsuo is at the gate by now." This tall individual seemed to know Talic, and apparently knew he had a mission that he didn't know existed?

"A mission? I never received a request or took one?" Talic rambling off in his confusion only to be shook by Hideaki. "We have done missions already what do you mean first?" As he would finish getting dressed the individual would grab his arm. "Can you slow it down with the questions? I'll explain at the gate when I have both of you together." Hideaki would poof away in a cloud of smoke as he would return back to the Rabbit Village as Talic would be dragged away.

As Talic would be dragged off and seeing Hideaki poof he would be left with yet another million questions. "You can stop dragging me I know where the front of the village is." Shaking himself lose he would begin to keep pace as the individual beside him. The person not caring that Talic got free would begin to speak. "We have a mission given directly from the Kage, and by we I mean us. After all we are Suna's squad zero though from your reaction I take it you weren't told were you?"  

Arriving at the front gate Talic would wait patently as more and more questions came to mind. After all he knows none of them are going to get answered until Tatsuo arrives.

After waiting what felt like an hour Talic and Koto were about to head off when Tatsuo would finally arrive. He looked tired and worn all while keeping to himself more so than he usually did odd but not unheard of. "Good, Now that you are both here we ca begin!" Koto would look cheerfully at the two young ninja. Tatsuo still keeping to himself while staring at the man. "We have been tasked with finding a bandit group in our region. They have been assaulting trade routes and killing civilians this has led them to be targeted by our team. As of today with the Kage's approval we are Team 0 and our first mission is to get information!" At that Koto would clap and turn towards the waste. "Lots of settlements to visit, so lets get a move on." He would begin his walk into the dessert.

Talic not having much time to really process everything would form a small nimbus and begin to follow Koto. Tatsuo's silence was beginning to worry Talic...no time to bring it up now he would do it after the mission. Talic would then move closer to Koto. "So, do we have any idea what we are looking for? Or is this one of those things that you would know when you see it?" Koto would look at his concerned student and shrug. "I don't know? Find out when we get to the first camp probably." Talic would be dumbfounded at his leaders statement how can you just basically wing a weed out mission? Much less against a bunch of former ninja gone bandit.

The trio would continue on their way until coming to a small run down bunch of buildings looking like an old farm. There is broken glass and wood scattered about the ground. "Looks like this place didn't last through the sandstorms or the locals..." He would point towards a pile of desecrated bodies. Tatsuo would cover his nose and suppress his chakra to dull the stench. Koto would rise his hand in a fist as to call us back. "Well it would seem that our targets have gotten brave...and we should be careful. As Koto would finish his words the ground would begin to shift and the houses would begin to shake and bend. Koto would quickly jump back while yelling for the other two to get back. Talic would quickly maneuver his nimbus out of the blast and try and grab Tatsuo only to be to slow and lose sight of him in the dust and sand being kicked up.

As the sand rose and cleared Talic would land on a nearby roof to a partially collapsed house due to what he assumed to be an attack. Koto would quickly jump over to check in on his disciple. "Are you okay?! Did you see what happen to Tatsuo?" Koto would lower his voice and keep a steady tone as to not overwhelm Talic after all he had a feeling he knew exactly what happen to him. Koto had begun to pick up various unrecognized chakra signatures and would place a hand on his katana.

With a million things going through Talic's mind right now the only major concern was whether or not Tatsuo was okay, and who could have possibly done such a large scale earth technique? He thought that this was just supposed to be a handful of Genin gone rouge and formed a bandit group. (That is an A- Rank jutsu...there is no way it's some nobodies...Koto also seems more on guard now as well. Did we take on more than what we could handle? Was the situation assessed wrong?) Talics face would grow pale as he thought of the danger his friend may be in. Talic knew all too well that Tatsuo wasn't a combat ninja...Talic just wasn't fast enough to help him this time.

Talic's thoughts would be interrupted as Koto would jerk him to a more structurally sound storage building as a gust of raging wind would slam into the roof that the two had been standing on followed by a roaring laughter. "Finally had the kage send out the big guns huh? Koto himself? But what's this? Two runts and one couldn't even get out of the way of my welcoming gift?" The smoke would begin to clear and there would be a tall individual wrapped in various layers of cloth for protection from the sun and sand holding an unconscious Tatsuo under his arm. "This one might as well be dead weight if he got captured that easy...they really are letting anyone be a ninja now a days."

The man would be cut off as Talic would fall into a full assault churning and moving thousands of pounds of sand underneath them causing all the ground to quickly become unstable. Koto knowing that Talic wouldn't be able to hear his protests simply decided to assist in the safe recovery of their other squad member.

Soon the area surrounding the small settlement would look like a giant whirlpool from both sand and wind alike. The ninja on the building realizing what was happening would quickly make a motion to try and counter act this movement and in the same motion try and mobilize his forces against the last two obstacles. Koto being quicker had already begun his part, he would clash and meet many incoming much weaker wind and fire based jutsu coming his way. Once they had blown their cover with a failed attack Talic would quickly debilitate them by engulfing and crushing them with sand then allowing the unconscious bodies to move towards the middle of the torrent .

The main ninja would be shocked that a runt would have so much control that he was able to completely dispel any control he had previously. "Ah I see! So this runt had been fodder from the start then! The real prize would have been you then huh red head!" The man would laugh once more before pulling out a kunai and throwing it down into Tatsuo's back. His body was unmoving likely due to a sensory overload and blacking out. This however did not stop his blood from running and beginning to pool around.  Koto seeing this would quickly spring forward and using the substitution jutsu with the kunai in Tatsuo's back to attempt to defend his now bleeding teammate.

Talic would be in shock as he just saw his one friend begin to bleed out.  (How do I help him? I can hold off this ninjas strongest element it seems, but what next? Koto is there can he stop him? Probably not while defending Tatsuo...).  Koto would then swiftly block a kunai from the rouge with his katana while picking Tatsuo up and begin to place some distance between the three.

Talic having finally shook himself back to would see Koto holding Tatsuo on the opposite building while the integrity slowly chips away. The rouge ninja would then send a wind blade towards the two with Koto quickly deflecting it and then looking towards Talic. "You need to get Tatsuo out of here! I've stopped the bleeding as best I could for now." Giving Talic a direction he would then nimbus his way across only to be met mid way by another wind blade shearing his nimbus in two and causing him to lose balance and begin to fall. Talic quickly moving the sand around him would then form a slope to catch him and let him slide onto the ground sliding back into a proper footing.

He would than be quickly met by a bunch to the stomach and a wind blade across the chest. "Well runt! I guess you were the prize after all. You alone took done almost fifteen rouge ninja with your little tantrum play...it's a shame that I'll have to kill you and your team to keep my operations going." At that the rouge ninja would run a kunai into his stomach and the world would begin to fade to black as Talic would thump to the ground.

Talic would awaken in that dark cave he grew so accustomed to dreading. It wouldn't take long for the cave to echo with a malicious laughter. "Shishishi- Looks like you went and got yourself stabbed didn't you? To think I was looking forward to killing you myself." The beast would come into view completely this time a very rare occurrence. Its bright yellow eyes starring down at Talic. "Your different this time runt...you smell like blood, and I don't mean your own. Is that a bloodlust I sense?" The beast would laugh once more. "You finally want to kill someone! Shishishi- I'll help you just this once runt" Talic hadn't even gotten a word in the beast was very talkative this time, and before he new it he woke up laying in the sand in a pool of blood...his blood.

He could hear the clanging of metal in the distance he assumed it was Koto. (Oh no- I need to mov-) Talic would wince in pain every time he would attempt to pick himself up. Finally falling back down in pain and exhaustion would it finally happen Talic would feel a burning sensation all over his body as a teal chakra began to pour out of him and coat his body. Soon the burning would lessen to a more tingle feeling as Talic would be able to get to his feet now. However, the pilot is no longer Talic a blood curdling roar would be let loose as Talic came to his feet with one goal in mind. (Kill) (Kill) going down onto all fours Talic would rush towards the clanging sounds only to see Koto bloody and Tatsuo laying in the sand covered in blood. Meanwhile the rouge ninja responsible would have some rough wounds but would continue to fight despite this laughing like a mad man. "This! This is what I wanted! Two high ranking ninja battling it out and no distractions!" Upon hearing the roar and seeing Talic boilting towards the man they would both be speechless. That was until Talic started to swing at the rouge ninja inflicting a nasty cut going down his shoulder to his forearm and causing it to burn wildly.

The rouge ninja would jump back to no avail, for Talic would dash into him once more shoulder bashing him into the ground. The rouge ninja would then cough up some blood and try and scoot away as Talic closed in. Dragging his hands on the ground sand would being floating and forming spike about two feet long and by the time Talic had approached the man completely he would laugh. "Hehe- You really were the prize weren't you runt?" He would smile as Talic drove down twelve sand spikes into every vital point the beast could think of. The rouge ninja would let out a scream as he loses what little life he had left, and Talic would collapse to the ground once again

Talic would awaken once again in the cave only to see the beast starring down at him laughing. "Shishishi- I still hat you..but you know have access to a shard of my power runt...use it well." Talic running forward to the beast..well as close as he can there is a gate between them. "How did you affect my body and mind like that!? Is that what you were going to do to kill the village?" Talic's questions would go unanswered as the beast started to laugh once more, and he would hear a voice over it. "Talic talic come on wake up!" Talic would begin to open his eyes as he would continue to be shook by what looked like Koto.

"Ko-koto? Where is Tatsuo?" Talic would begin to sit up but would quickly stop as a shooting pain would start in his chest and around his stomach. Koto would look at him and help Talic sit up. He would then see that they are at the now collapsed settlement in the shade and that Tatsuo's body had been laid next to Talic. Koto would frown as he looked over at them and in a solemn voice. "I failed you...well both of you. The mission was more than what had been reported and I thought we could handle it..."  Koto would stop to clear his throat. "Tatsuo...Tatsuo didn't make it after you had gotten stabbed the rouge ninja came and attacked up..I tried my best to defend him..." Talic would hold up his hand to stop Koto. He would smile with fresh tears falling down his face, for this pain was nothing compared to the injuries he had felt during this encounter. "It's okay, He knew the risk with becoming a ninja. Especially going on the road to become a high ranking one...it was only a mater of time before his lack of combat ability came back to get him."

Ignoring the pain Talic would rise to his feet and move towards his fallen friend he would form a nimbus under him and Talic. "I should probably inform his parents...and report to the Kage of our success." Talic would feel numb as he lifts into the air. "I'm sure you can clean the bodies up and get the information you need." Koto would nod. "Go back to the village, and report in...try and cover the body if possible..we don't want to scare the civilians."

Talic would begin his flight back to Sunagakura...this numb feeling wouldn't pass as he remembers the time he spent with Tatsuo and couldn't help but to cry. "I know you always hated it when I cried...I can't help it, and I know you weren't a fan of flying." He would wipe his face and smile as he looked back towards Tatsuo. "I'll get stronger and stop crying over everything...and one day when we meet again..it will be as the Kazekage." Flying in silence as Talic tries to regain his composure. "That's my promise to a fallen friend."

As Talic approaches the village he would shift the nimbus around so that Tatsuo's body was not visible. While flying directly to the Kage tower the guards would attempt to stop him until they see the wounds and decide to escort the nimbus into the kage's office. Talic would step off the nimbus and walk towards the desk. "Mission was successful Lord Kage." he would lift the sand off Tatsuo. "The sixteen rouge ninja have been dealt with and Koto stay at he site to give them a proper look over."

The kage would look in shock and horror as to what she just put her grandson through then seeing the torn mail and cuts upon Talic's chest and stomach. "Oh Talic..this wasn't supposed to happen...it's never supposed to happen that way." She would walk over towards the body. I'll inform his family...you head back home and get some rest okay? I'll send another team out to help Kot wrap things up."

Talic would nod and lock the nimbus in place as he leaves the room and begins to head back to his home.
