| TIER AND RANK BREAKDOWN: Tiers and Ranks are what help to determine how powerful your character is, as well as what level of responsibility your character holds. There are SIX tiers each with several corresponding possible ranks within the ninja organization. While these tiers generally show how powerful your character is, they are an OOC terminology and generally one would use the actual RANK structure to speak on such matters IC. Also, TIERS and RANKS are separate entities, which means that, while a Genin is USUALLY found at D-rank, you might have an E-rank or even a B-rank Genin depending on your circumstances. The only thing is that this usually doesn’t work in reverse, so you aren’t going to find an E-rank Chuunin or a D-ranked Jonin.
